In the world, about 60 species of yellow camellia have been recorded and about 50 species are known in Vietnam. Camellia vuquangensis and Camellia hatinhensis were discovered and announced in 2018 in Vu Quang National Park. These two species of yellow camellia are currently considered endemic in Ha Tinh and have not been recorded in other provinces. The present study described the morphological, ecological, distribution and regenerative characteristics of these two species of yellow camellia in Vu Quang National Park. Research results will contribute to proposing appropriate measures for conservation and development.
Thai people group have a forest-dependent lifestyle, their ingredients in their cuisine are often gathered from the forest and have a strong flavor and taste of the forests. In recent years, these kinds of edible forest trees and unique cultural features have been heavily exploited for ecotourism activities in mountainous areas. In Kem Waterfall area, the study has recorded 118 species belonging to 82 genera and 38 families of 2 vascular plant branches, that collected by local people from the forest for eating and catering for tourists. In terms of usage, diversity of usage, stem type, habitat... have been evaluated to propose solutions to sustainably exploit and develop of edible forest tree species to meet local people and tourism’s needs. The study also listed 23 species that are commonly exploited, 5 species listed in the Vietnam Red Data Book, proposed 6 valuable species for planting and some sustainable harvesting methods to meet local needs and eco-tourism.
Amomum longiligulare is a valuable medicinal plant. Essential oils of A. longiligulare also widely used in the production of cosmetics. In the plan of Nghe An pharmaceutical development, A. longiligulare is one of three species groups proposed to be planted on an area of 100 hectares in mountain areas. However, in Nghe An, this species is distributed very few in the wild, difficult to develop into a pharmaceutical materials area. This study was conducted on a 1-ha model of A. longiligulare cultivation under the regenerated natural forest canopy in order to find out some suitable ecological conditions to recommend for the cultivation and development of the area of A. longiligulare under a natural forest canopy. The results show that A. longiligulare are suitable for planting under the canopy of natural forests, where canopy cover is 30% -50%, altitude 100 - 800m above sea level, rainfall 2,000 - 3,000mm/ year, humidity land over 17%. After 2 years the tree bears fruit, about 120kg of dried fruit/1 ha/crop.
Outward investment policy has been an important part of China's reform and opening-up since 1978. However, it has really made major breakthroughs since China stepped up the implementation of its “going out” strategy in the early years of the twenty-first century. Through preferential policies and measures on tax, financial and monetary reform, aid to countries, establishment of an investment support fund, and reform of administrative procedures, China is constantly expanding its investment to foreign countries, becoming one of the world’s leading countries in this field. China's investment development strategy has had a certain impact on Vietnam - China economic relations in the period 2010-2020. It has contributed to promoting Chinese investment in Vietnam, enhancing trade cooperation between the two countries; but on the other hand, it also makes the trade balance unbalanced, causing some limitations and inadequacies in the process of Chinese investment in Vietnam.
Puxailaileng is an area with the most unique characteristics of biodiversity, with the highest peak in the Truong Son range of 2,711 m, so there are many unique factors here that other regions do not have. With an area of only nearly 50 thousand hectares, the research area has recorded 726 species of higher plants, of which 126 species belong to 28 genera in Nghe An. The endemism is also very high, due to the difference in terrain and climate, there are only 408/726 common species in Nam Can and Na Ngoi communes, 320 species are only found in one of two communes. In the Puxailaileng area, this study has recorded 588 medicinal plant species in 155 families in 5 divisions of vascular plants. Characteristics of diversity of habitat, stem type, collection and diversity of rare and precious species were also assessed, including 27 species listed in the Vietnam's Red Data Book (2007).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
