Background of the study: The reality of the inevitability of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era that must be faced by X University and will have an impact on the X Library towards Library 4.0 has become a serious concern at X University. Thus, it is important to conduct a research study on the readiness of the X Library in implementing Library 4.0.Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the readiness of the X library to implement Library 4.0 in the face of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 by referring to the TORC (Theory of Organizational Readiness for Change), in terms of five contextual factors- the policies and procedures, past experience, organizational resources (human resources and technological resources), organizational structure, and organizational culture.Method: The research method used this study is mixed methods, which combine quantitative and qualitative approaches.Findings: The results showed that the level of organizational readiness in implementing Library 4.0 is the mean value of 2,60. This showed that the X Library is not ready, and needs some of work to implement Library 4.0Conclusion: Based on the five contextual factors to measure organizational readiness toward Library 4.0, it showed that almost all of them are the level of not ready, but there is one factor that shows it is quite ready- the policies and procedures. The lack of organizational readiness because leadership is an important key related to contextual factors that affect the readiness of Library X towards Library 4.0.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyusun usulan rekomendasi layanan perpustakaan di Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November Surabaya (ITS) yang berbasis teknologi informasi (TI) dengan menggunakan framework COBIT. COBIT merupakan sebuah panduan standar untuk praktik manajemen teknologi informasi. COBIT dapat membantu untuk menjembatani gap antara risiko-risiko bisnis, kebutuhan kontrol dan permasalahan-permasalahan teknis. Tingkat kematangan layanan pengguna perpustakaan ITS dianalisa berdasarkan faktor internal dan eksternal melalui wawancara dan penyebaran kuisioner. Indikator kepuasan pengguna diturunkan dengan menggunakan metode LibQual dan COBIT. Pada Libqual indikator kepuasan diturunkan dari pengukuran affect of service dan information control. Indikator kerja yang digunakan pada kerangka kerja COBIT adalah domain DS (delivery support). Selanjutnya hasil dari survey dan wawancara akan dibandingkan dengan kriteria World Class University Library (WCUL) untuk mengetahui kekurangan dari standar pelayanan perpustakaan yang diberikan di perpustakaan pusat ITS. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan ITS memiliki nilai rata-rata tingkat kematangan 3 pada proses yang didefinisikan (defined process). Sedangkan berdasarkan kriteria WCUL, perpustakaan ITS memenuhi 4 item kriteria WCUL dari total 23 item kriteria. 19 item kriteria lainnya sudah diimplementasikan di perpustakaan ITS dengan nilai rata-rata yang hampir mendekati batas nilai untuk kriteria WCUL. Ada beberapa indikator yang digunakan sebagai objek prioritas usulan rekomendasi dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: Keselarasan Strategi (Strategic Alignment), Penyampaian Nilai (Value Delivery), Manajemen Sumber Daya (Resource Management), Manajemen Risiko (Risk Management), dan Pengukuran Kinerja (Performance Measurement).Luaran dari penelitian ini adalah berupa dokumen rekomendasi berdasarkan kelima indikator tersebut.
6) ABSTRAK Sistem rekomendasi adalah sistem yang dapat memberikan saran bagi pengguna terhadap item/produk yang bermanfaat. Perpustakaan ITS yang merupakan salah satu penyedia jasa informasi di ITS memerlukan sistem rekomendasi untuk koleksi pustaka yang akan dibeli. Hal ini dikarenakan pustakawan mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan proses seleksi judul-judul bahan pustaka yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Sehingga proses pengadaan bahan pustaka tidak berjalan maksimal dan bahan pustaka, khususnya buku, yang dibeli kebanyakan tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini diusulkan clustering topik penelitian berbasis unsupervised learning untuk rekomendasi koleksi pustaka di Perpustakaan ITS. Penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan proses yaitu: text preprocessing, proses ekstraksi fitur, proses clustering, dan tahap rekomendasi. Text preprocessing dilakukan untuk memperbaiki kualitas data teks, sehingga dapat menghasilkan klaster yang relevan dan akurat. Langkah-langkah pada tahap text preprocessing adalah case folding, tokenizing, filtering, dan stemming. Kemudian, dilakukan proses ekstraksi fitur yaitu dengan teknik pembobotan menggunakan Term Frequency dan Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF). Fitur-fitur yang dihasilkan pada tahap ekstraksi fitur dilakukan proses clustering menggunakan metode unsupervised learning yaitu K-Means clustering untuk menghasilkan klaster topik penelitian. Tahap terakhir adalah proses rekomendasi yang dilakukan berdasarkan hasil klaster topik penelitian. Dataset yang digunakan berasal dari tugas akhir dan tesis mahasiswa. Pengukuran evaluasi pada penelitian ini menggunakan nilai silhouette coefficient. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, ratarata nilai silhouette coefficient terbaik yaitu sebesar 0.7119 dengan nilai K=3 pada K-Means clustering dan menggunakan metode Principal Component Analysis (PCA).
The ITS library as a unit that supports the ITS industrial revolution 4.0 strategy must make improvements to the application of information technology services to users. The ITS library repository website as a portal for storing scientific works of the ITS academic community is one of the information technology services that is often used by the ITS academic community (siva), but there has been no development for more than 5 years. For this reason, it is necessary to research evaluating the service quality of the ITS library repository website using webqual 4.0, which includes 3 (three) dimensions, namely: usability, information quality, and service interaction quality. The method used is a survey of distributing questionnaires to ITS final semester students who use the repository's independent upload service. As many as 100 students use the repository's independent upload service, then an IPA analysis (importance performance analysis) is carried out to determine the level of user satisfaction. The measurement results of the evaluation of the ITS Library repository website show a gap of -0.7, meaning that user satisfaction with the ITS Library repository website has not yet been achieved, while the IPA matrix diagram shows 2 (two) service indicators that are prioritized for quality improvement, namely interaction with the ITS repository website, which is safe from viruses and hackers when accessed via a PC or smartphone, and a quick search menu (title, author, supervisor, department) that gives inaccurate search results.
