Abstrak
PT Ultra Jaya Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk yang berlokasi di jalan Raya Cimareme 131, Padalarang Kab. Bandung Barat, merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang manufaktur minuman dalam kemasan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah keterlambatan tibanya produk di tangan konsumen. Hal tersebut menyebabkan timbulnya beberapa permasalahan, seperti: harus diperbaikinya kontrak kerjasama dengan pihak konsumen yang membutuhkan waktu cukup lama dan konsekuensi biaya yang ditimbulkan akibat perbaikan kontrak tersebut.
Maka dari itu diusulkan algoritma penjadwalan yang didalamnya terdapat metode backward scheduling dalam membantu penyelesaian algortima penjadwalan. Dari hasil algoritma usulan untuk 5 periode pengiriman, didapatkan terjadi penurunan keterlambatan secara berturut-turut adalah 9, 13, 7, 5 dan 10. Selain penurunan jumlah keterlambatan, algoritma usulan juga dapat memberikan pengurangan kebutuhan moda transportasi. Dimana jumlah pengurangan kebutuhan moda transportasi dari ke 5 periode usulan secara berturut-turut adalah 2, 2, 1, 1, 2. Algoritma usulan membantu perusahaan dalam merancang jadwal pengiriman karena dapat mengurangi permasalahan keterlambatan sampainya produk ke tangan konsumen.

PT Ultra Jaya Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk is located on Jalan Raya Cimareme 131, Padalarang Kab. West Bandung, is a company engaged in beverage packaging manufacturing. The problem faced by the company is the delay in the arrival of the product in the hands of consumers. This has led to several problems, such as: the contract of cooperation with the consumer must be improved, which takes a long time and the consequences of costs resulting from the repair of the contract. Therefore, a scheduling algorithm is proposed, in which there is a backward scheduling method in assisting the completion of scheduling algorithms. From the results of the proposed algorithm for the 5 delivery periods, it was found that there were decreases in delay, respectively 9, 13, 7, 5 and 10. In addition to a decrease in the number of delays, the proposed algorithm can also reduce the need for transportation modes. Where the number of reductions in transportation mode needs from the 5 proposed periods are 2, 2, 1, 1, 2. The proposed algorithm helps the company in designing the delivery schedule because it can reduce the problem of delays in arriving at the hands of consumers.
