This study aimed to explain creative thinking patterns, including imaginative thinking, divergent thinking, and lateral thinking of students in scientific work. The scientific work studied was in the form of the Student Creativity Program at Malang State University, Indonesia.Research Methods: This study used a qualitative approach with content analysis method. The data were in the form of sentences, sentence groups, paragraphs, paragraph clusters, and whole text. The data source of this research was the writing of student scientific work. The data were collected through surveys, documentation studies, and interviews.
<p class="Abstrak"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Teaching materials are a very important learning tool to support learning activities and are arranged systematically so that they can be used in teaching and learning activities. Basically, instructional materials compiled include knowledge and skills and contain information, facts, concepts and learning objectives. The teaching material developed in this study was writing a text for procedures containing Maluku local wisdom. Teaching materials that have been prepared display a variety of Maluku local wisdom formed in the procedural text of each unit. Text that contain step or steps that must be done to get the final destination is known as the procedure text.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Bahan ajar adalah sebuah alat pembelajaran yang sangat penting untuk menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran dan disusun dengan sistematis sehingga dapat dipergunakan pada kegiatan belajar mengajar. Pada dasarnya, bahan disusun mencakup pengetahuan maupun keterampilan dan berisi informasi, fakta, konsep, dan tujuan pembelajaran. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah menulis teks prosedur bermuatan kearifan lokal Maluku. Bahan ajar yang telah disusun menampilkan beragam kearifan lokal Maluku yang dibentuk dalam teks prosedur pada setiap unit. Teks yang berisi tahapan atau langkah yang wajib dilakukan guna mendapatkan tujuan akhir dikenal dengan nama teks prosedur.
This article presents a comprehensive analysis of writing motivation and the ability in writing a research proposals of Generation Z students based on differences in their cognitive styles. The research involved 70 Generation Z students in Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji, Indonesia. After going through the Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) stages, these students were divided into 2 groups based on their cognitive style, field independent (FI) and field dependent (FD). Writing motivation data was collected through a questionnaire and the writing ability of writing research proposals was collected through an assessment rubric. Analysis of research data using t-test and linear regression with SPSS 23. The results of this study stated that the writing motivation of Generation Z students between the FI group and the FD group did not differ significantly. Meanwhile, the ability in writing research proposals for Generation Z students in the FI group was higher than for Generation Z students in the FD group. Writing motivation has a significant effect on the ability in writing research proposals in both groups. The results of this study recommend for analysis other perspectives and the exploration of thinking characteristics of Generation Z students in written language.

Documentary films are films made based on facts not fiction or imagination so that documentaries portray the problems of real human life. Documentary film is used as a medium that is used as a reference for students in writing short stories, because documentaries tell stories about history and real life that occur in students' daily lives. The development of teaching materials starts from conventional to innovative that can help the learning process itself, especially for teachers to help students in the learning process to become interested and fun with a variety of diverse themes. Basically, the material compiled includes knowledge and skills and contains information, facts,<strong> </strong>concepts and learning objectives. Teaching material that has been compiled shows how to write short stories using documentary films as a source of inspiration.</p><p> </p></td></tr></tbody></table></div><strong>Abstrak: </strong> Film dokumenter merupakan salah satu jenis film berupa laporan aktual yang kreatif berdasarkan kenyataan. Film dokumenter merupakan film yang dibuat berdasarkan fakta bukan fiksi atau hasil imajinasi sehingga film dokumenter menggambarkan permasalahan kehidupan manusia yang nyata. Film dokumenter digunakan sebagai media yang dijadikan acuan siswa dalam menulis cerpen karena film dokumenter bercerita tentang sejarah dan kehidupan nyata yang terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Pengembangan bahan ajar berawal dari konvesional menuju inovatif yang dapat membantu proses pembelajaran itu sendiri, terutama bagi guru untuk membantu siswa dalam proses belajar agar menjadi tertarik dan menyenangkan dengan berbagai tema yang beragam. Pada dasarnya, bahan yang disusun mencakup pengetahuan maupun keterampilan dan berisi informasi, fakta, konsep serta tujuan pembelajaran. Bahan ajar yang telah disusun menampilkan cara menulis cerpen dengan menggunakan film dokumenter sebagai sumber inspirasi.
The focus of this research is to analyze and to explain about utilizing the satire language style in Ini Talk Show programme. Satire language style in Ini Talk Show is used to express the feeling, critics, and opinion that is addressed to a special part. The specific focus of this research is the creation of forms, the use of context, and the achievement of the function of the satire language style as a form of utilizing the satire language style. . This research uses qualitative methods based on analytical theory and stylistics to find the utilization of satire language style. The data on this research such as words, phrase, clause, and sentence in Ini Talk Show. The source of the data in this research is the video in 2014, in which there is a qualification of the shape creation, the use of context, and the achievement from the function of satire language style. The result of this research shows that (1) the shape creation of satire language style which cover, the uses of irony language style, the uses of cynicism language style, the uses of sarcasm language style, and the uses of reps in a sentence. (2) the uses of context of satire language style which cover, the uses of narrative style in a conversation, the uses of a relaxed situation creation, and the uses of easy topics. (3) the achievement of satire language style which covers, to express criticism for evaluation, express criticism to give an advice, to express disappointment, to express ridicule, and to express the idea. Gaya bahasa sindiran dalam talkshow digunakan untuk mengungkapkan perasaan, kritik, dan pendapat yang ditujukan kepada pihak tertentu. Fokus khusus penelitian ini adalah pengkreasian bentuk, pemanfaatan konteks, dan pencapaian fungsi gaya bahasa sindiran sebagai bentuk pendayagunaan gaya bahasa sindiran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang berlandaskan teori analisis wacana dan stilistika untuk menemukan pendayagunaan gaya bahasa sindiran dalam Ini Talk Show. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kata, frasa, klausa, dan kalimat dalam acara Ini Talk Show. Sumber data penelitian ini berupa unggahan video Ini Talk Show tahun 2014 yang di dalamnya terdapat kualifikasi pengkreasian bentuk, pemanfaatan konteks, dan pencapaian fungsi gaya bahasa sindiran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) pengkreasian bentuk gaya bahasa sindiran meliputi penggunaan gaya bahasa ironi, penggunaan majas sinisme, penggunaan majas sarkasme, dan penggunaan repetisi dalam bentuk kalimat. (2) pemanfaatan konteks gaya bahasa sindiran meliputi penggunaan gaya naratif dalam percakapan, penciptaan situasi yang santai, dan pembicaraan topik yang ringan. (3) pencapaian fungsi gaya bahasa sindiran meliputi mengungkapkan kritik untuk tujuan evaluasi, mengungkapkan kritik untuk memberikan saran, menyatakan ejekan, menyatakan kekecewaan, dan mengungkapkan pikiran atau gagasan.
