Medicinal herbs have been used in animal husbandry since ancient times and have recently gained significant attention in aquaculture (Das et al., 2018). Several scientific studies promote the usage of medicinal herbs in aquaculture (Bhuvaneswari & Balasundaram, 2006;Harikrishnan et al., 2011).
