In order to distinguish underwater targets, the method of target depth resolution urgently need to be developed. Matched field processing (MFP) is a passive detection method and it can be used to distinguish two targets at different depth. In this paper single vertical array MFP simulation has been done for targets depth resolution while they have same distance and azimuth in ocean acoustic field and the results show that the resolution is basically correspond to theoretical value.
In this paper, a fast and high-efficiency carrier frequency offsets (CFO) estimation algorithm is proposed. This new algorithm exploits the intrinsic structure information of OFDM signals and the unimodality of the cost function for CFO estimation. It reduces the computational complexity by using the golden section method in searching for the extremum of the cost function. The performance of the proposed algorithm is investigated with numerical simulations. The results show that the new algorithm has much lower complexity than Turelis MUSIC-like approach while achieves same performance in both additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) and multipath fading channels.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
