Malnutrition is a global health risk affecting people at any point in their life stages from infancy to the elderly, regardless of their gender, wealth status, and country of origin. Moreover, malnutrition is defined as the disparities occurring with inadequate (undernutrition) and excessive (overnutrition) consumption of nutrients (Ohanenye et al., 2021).
