Analysis of carrier charge mobility of Spirulina sp thin films produced by spin coating have been conducted. Measurement of carrier charge mobility has been done by I-V method. Mobility of carrier charge decreased with an increased of the layer number. It indicates that a threshold value of carrier charge of population number over flow on conduction band.Keywords : Spirulina sp, spin coating, mobility ABSTRAKAnalisis mobilitas pembawa muatan lapisan tipis Spirulina sp hasil deposisi spin coating telah berhasil dilakukan. Pengukuran mobilitas pembawa muatan dilakukan dengan metode I-V. Mobilitas pembawa muatan menurun dengan kenaikan jumlah perulangan lapisan tipis. Hal ini menegaskan keberadaan ambang batas jumlah populasi pembawa muatan mengalir pada kanal/pita konduksi.Kata kunci : Spirulina sp, spin coating, mobilitas PENDAHULUANSejak diketahui potensi aplikasi bahan semikonduktor organik di bidang elektronika, mekanisme transport mobilitas pembawa muatan adalah salah satu bidang kajian yang banyak menjadi perhatian para peneliti [1,2,3] . Saat ini, salah satu pemanfaatan fenomena transport di bidang elektronika adalah Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) [4] . Banyak ragam metode penentuan mobilitas pembawa muatan seperti metode time-of-flight (TOF), metode xerographic discharge, metode equilibrium charge carrier extraction, metode current drift, metode space-charge-limited-current (SCLC), metode conductivity/ concentration (s/n), metode field effect transistor (FET), dan metode surface acousto-electric traveling wave (SAW) [5,6] . Pada makalah ini akan ditentukan mobilitas pembawa muatan lapisan tipis Spirulina sp hasil deposisi spin coating. Metode current drift (I-V)dipilih untuk penentuan nilai mobilitas ini mengingat kemudahan dan tingkat realisasinya lebih tinggi. Akhirnya ketergantungan nilai mobilitas dengan jumlah perulangan lapisan tipis akan diklarifikasi.
Synthesis and fabrication of nanoparticle-based thin layer of natural porphyrin was reported in this paper. The natural porphyrin solutions used in the experiments were synthesized by using a process of column chromatography techniques. Then natural porphyrin thin films were deposited by spin coating methods on Cu substrate. Experiment result showed that natural porphyrin thin films composed of discrete islands. More detailed observation show that the islands were formed from smaller islands that called supra molecule.
