The first representatives of fluorescent boro-β-carbolines were applied for labeling trastuzumab. The antibody fluorophore conjugate was confirmed as a useful tool for labeling and imaging tumour cells in confocal and two-photon microscopy.
A novel family of julolidine-containing fluorescent rhodols
equipped
with a wide variety of substituents was synthesized in a versatile
two-step process. The prepared compounds were fully characterized
and exhibited excellent fluorescence properties for microscopy imaging.
The best candidate was conjugated to the therapeutic antibody trastuzumab
through a copper-free strain-promoted azide-alkyne click reaction.
The rhodol-labeled antibody was successfully applied for in
vitro confocal and two-photon microscopy imaging of Her2+
cells.
Usability evaluation is probably the most critical step in product development for the home care market. The DOMEO AAL project targets at high standard with deploying the Kompa'j social robot to homes of eight elderly users_ Each user is asked to test the robot for assisting their daily activities for as long as three months. The paper describes the functions and services of the Kompa"i robot with details of the autonomous and teleoperated infocommunication and control solutions. We also present objective and subjective test results of four users fully and two users partially completed their field tests in 579 days. The use/service aspects of care personnel, operation/maintenance personnel and third persons like family members are also discussed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
