Teachers’ work motivation and teachers’ job satisfaction are the factors influencing the organizational commitment. This research is aimed to empirically examine the roles of teachers’ work motivation and teachers’ job satisfaction in the commitment of the organization in extraordinary schools. The subjects of the research are the teachers in Extraordinary School 1 Bantul Yogyakarta. The sample was taken by employing non-randomized technique. The scales of work motivation, job satisfaction and organizational commitment are used in collecting the data. The data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression technique. The results of the research show that 1) simultaneously, teachers’ work motivation and teachers’ job satisfaction are highly significant positive correlated with organizational commitment, by reaching the score of Rx1x2v=0,621 with the probability p=0,002 (p<0,01); 2) teachers’ work motivation are highly significant correlated with the organizational commitment, by reaching the score of (rx1v))=0,614 and the probability p=0,000 (p<0,01); 3) teachers’ job satisfaction is highly significant positive correlated with organizational commitment, by reaching the score of (rx2v))=0,570 and probability p=0,001 (p<0,01). Teachers’ job motivation more dominantly influence organizational commitment compared to teachers’ job satisfaction
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas teknik positive self-talk sebagai strategi dalam mengurangi kecemasan yang dialami orang lanjut usia penderita hipertensi. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 8 orang yang merupakan orang lanjut usia penderita hipertensi dan memiliki skor kecemasan berat yaitu > 27 berdasarkan Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimental dengan re-treatment (one group pretest and posttest design). Analisis data menggunakan uji statistic non parametric Wilcoxon untuk melihat perbedaan pretest dan posttest dalam menentukan hasil intervensi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terjadi penurunan skor tingkat kecemasan yang dialami oleh 8 partisipan, di mana skor kecemasan berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai Z= -2,536 dengan signifikansi p= 0,011 (p< 0,05). Artinya, ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara tingkat kecemasan yang dialami partisipan sebelum dan sesudah proses intervensi. Dengan demikian, partisipan mampu mengubah pemikiran negatif yang irrasional, menjadi pemikiran yang lebih positif.
This study aimed to describe the process and the characteristics of the meaningfulness of life of street girls who have been sexually abused after having children from unwanted pregnancies. Subjects consisted of two female street children under the age of 18 years who were victims of sexual violence, have children from unwanted pregnancies and lived in the city of Yogyakarta. A non-participant observation and interviews were employed for data collection, while interview with significant person of the two subjects was conducted as atriangulation of the data. Analysis of the data was performed using content analysis. The results showed that a meaningfulness of life of subject 1 was obtained after having a child at which she became more vibrant in life and she hope that she will see her son grow up well. She also finds a better and more mature life by becoming a mother. Meanwhile, the meaningfulness of life of subject 2 acquired after experiencing a difficult childbirth process that insightfully led her to reflect on how her mother had been hardly struggle to raise her up and she deeply regret that in fact she had not been able to make her mother happy until her mother passed away.
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of intervention model in children growth and development to improve stimulation skills of parents with young children. Design of experiments uses a quasi-experimental of one-group pretest-posttest design. Methods of data collection use a scale of stimulation skills. Subjects in this study are the parents who have early children in child care, the children were born normal and subjects are parents whose children attend child care of Ar Royyan Yogyakarta. The data analyzed using the Wilcoxon by SPSS 17.0 for Windows. The results showed the t = -4.341 and p = 0.001) (2-tailed) (p <0:01), this means very significant. Thus, there are significant differences stimulation skill level of parents of early children between pretest is given and after the intervention (posttest). The average skill level of stimulation of parents of early children intervention is higher after given the intervention.
SD Negeri Kempong merupakan satu-satunya sekolah dasar yang terletak di Dusun Kempong, Banjaroyo, Kalibawang, Kulon Progo. Edukasi diikuti sebanyak 25 siswa dari total 64 siswa di SD Kempong. Konsumsi sayur dan buah merupakan salah satu syarat dalam memenuhi menu gizi seimbang. Konsumsi sayur dan buah sangat penting untuk dilakukan oleh anak-anak di setiap kali makan. Konsumsi sayur dapat mempengaruhi tingkat pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, khususnya yaitu pada usia 7-9 tahun. Pengetahuan tentang perbedaan sampah organik dan anorganik juga merupakan suatu hal yang penting untuk diajarkan kepada siswa. Hal ini dilakukan dengan tujuan agar siswa mampu menjaga lingkungan dan mengetahui manfaat dari sampah organik dan anorganik. Dengan memberikan edukasi selama 2 hari (12 dan 13 Februari 2019) tentang pentingnya konsumsi sayur dan buah serta perbedaan sampah diharapkan anak-anak dapat mengonsumsi sayur, buah setiap harinya dan dapat menjaga lingkungan agar tetap bersih.
