Abstract. Mathematics is often considered as one of difficult subject at school. It causes many students feel anxious when facing this subject. One of the factors that can affect mathematical anxiety is students' belief on their own ability which is called self-efficacy. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of self-efficacy to anxiety when they are encountered with Mathematics subject. The proposed hypothesis is that self-efficacy has significant effect to mathematical anxiety experienced by junior high school students in YDM Learning Guidance Course Makassar. The population of this study were 75 students of grade VII, VIII, and IX of YDM Learning Guidance Course, and 30 among them were purposively selected as the participants. Self-efficacy scale adapted from Bandura and anxiety scale adapted from Holmes were utilized as instruments to collect the data. The validity test result of self-efficacy and anxiety scales was above 0.30 (valid), while the result of reliability test yielded 0.90 on self-efficacy scale and 0.923 on anxiety scale. Furthermore, the data were statistically tested by using regression test. The result showed that the significance value p = 0.001 (<0.05), which means that there was a significant effect of self-efficacy to mathematical anxiety of junior high school students in YDM Learning Guidance Makassar.
Through a game, children have opportunities to interact with their peers; at the same time, they can to improve interpersonal competence. Moreover, the pattern of play involving interaction with peers can be found in the traditional game, one of which is a traditional game akkasing. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to determine the influence of the traditional game of akkasing to improve the interpersonal competence of peers group for elementary school children. This research is the pretest-posttest control group design. The subject of this research is 5th-grade student SDI Athirah 2 Bukit Baruga, with a sample size of 24 students. Based on hypothesis testing with Mann Whitney U Test showed the significant level of 0.00 (p<0.05) and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test shows the value of p = 0.00 < 0.05 after the administration of treatment in the experimental group. The result of the research showed that there is an influence of traditional game akkasing to improve the interpersonal competence of peers for elementary school children. Besides, this is shown by the difference in interpersonal competence of the experimental and control group. To improve the interpersonal competence of peers by introducing and teaching traditional games akkasing to elementary school children.
The success of an organization cannot be separated from the quality of a leader. Leaders have an important role in achieving the success of an organization. For this reason, a competent leader is needed, so that he is able and proficient in managing the system applied in an organization. This study aims to determine the effect of spiritual intelligence on leadership competencies of leaders within the scope of government agencies. Subjects in this study, leaders within the scope of government totaling 300 leaders in the Makassar City Government Authority. The measuring instrument used is based on the Emmons and Swiderski theory. The statistical analysis method applied is the ordinal regression analysis. Hypothesis test results showed that spiritual intelligence affects leadership competence (p = 0.000), with a contribution of 6.9%. This research implies that it becomes the input for leaders to increase the level of spiritual intelligence so that they can become competent leaders in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, and can implement systems and manage human resources to achieve maximum results from organizational goals.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis indikator kesiapan menikah pada remaja akhir di Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian survei dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Subjek penelitian adalah 860 remaja berusia 15-20 tahun yang berasal dari berbagai jenjang pendidikan yaitu SMA (46,1%) SMK (4%) dan mahasiswa S1 (45,5%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa indikator kesiapan menikah pada remaja akhir, yaitu (1) kemapanan ekonomi sebesar 51% (2) pendidikan yang tinggi sebesar 22,5%, (3) penyesuaian karakter dengan pasangan sebesar 35,6%, (4) persetujuan orang tua sebesar 26%. Dari segi kesiapan menikah, sekitar 65,6% remaja menyatakan tidak siap untuk menikah, 23,6% kurang siap menikah, cukup siap 5,5%, siap 5,1%, dan hanya 2,5% remaja yang menyatakan sangat siap menikah. Dalam hal persiapan yang diperlukan untuk menjalani pernikahan yang harmonis, (1) keterampilan berkomunikasi sebesar 59,9%, (2) keterampilan mendidik dan merawat anak 47,9%, (3) pekerjaan 46,7%, dan (4) pengelolaan emosi 34,5%, sedangkan hal yang menjadi kekhawatiran remaja dari pernikahan adalah 67,5% perselingkuhan, 60,9% diperlakukan kasar, dicampakkan/diabaikan 45,3%, ditekan secara ekonomi 40,1%, dan 29,8% tidak mendapat kebebasan. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah untuk menambah pengetahuan pihak terkait baik orangtua, masyarakat, maupun pemerintah mengenai gambaran kesiapan menikah pada remaja akhir sebagai bahan untuk memberikan premarital preparation/edukasi pranikah pada remaja agar remaja akhir mampu mempersiapkan diri untuk memenuhi tugas perkembangan dewasa awal yakni memilih pasangan dan menikah.
