Women continue to be victims of violence and the violation of their human rights keep being in the increase as they experienced constant hatred on their status. This article analyzes liability for crimes against women under criminal legislations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Cameroon by assessing the Criminal Codes rules in both countries in terms of identifying its distinctive features of legal regulation conditional to gender and family differences of subjects is provided. Expert study of criminal legislations related to crimes against women plays a facilitating role in identifying not only real scope of criminal law rules, but also determining if there is a gap in law, or legal regulation is insufficiently socially conditioned. Moreover, analysis of genesis of criminal standards on responsibility for crimes against women made it possible to trace changes in law in relation to such objects of criminal law protection as, for example, life, health, sexual freedom and sexual immunity, honor and dignity of woman, interests of family and its members.
АННОТАЦИЯ В статье анализируются поэтапное совершенствование национального законодательства касательно института адвокатуры. Выявлены некоторые его проблемы в частности, защиты прав физических и юридических лиц в административном судопроизводстве, дана оценка существующему положению по обеспечению прав граждан на квалифицированную юридическую помощь. В свете проекта Постановления Президента Республики Узбекистан о дальнейшем совершенствовании деятельности адвокатуры и коренному повышению статуса адвоката представлены предложения по усилению правового статуса адвоката в административном судопроизводстве, реформирования системы дисциплинарного контроля деятельности адвокатов, соблюдения адвокатской тайны, обращено внимание общественности на особую роль адвокатуры в осуществлении прав и законных интересов граждан, построении правового государства. ABSTRACT The article analyzes the phased improvement of national legislation regarding the institution of advocacy. Some of its problems were identified, in particular, the protection of the rights of individuals and legal entities in administrative proceedings, an assessment was made of the current situation on ensuring the rights of citizens to qualified legal assistance. In the light of the draft Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the further improvement of the activities of the bar and a radical increase in the status of a lawyer, proposals are presented on strengthening the legal status of a lawyer in administrative proceedings, reforming the system of disciplinary control of the activities of lawyers, and observance of lawyer secrets, the public is drawn to the special role of the bar in the exercise of rights and the legitimate interests of citizens, the construction of the rule of law. The article analyzes the responsibility for crimes against women under the criminal legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. For the first time, the norms of the Criminal Code are evaluated from the point of view of finding the features of legal regulation due to the gender and family differences of subjects in it. The analysis of criminal legislation concerning crimes against women helped not only to see the real content of criminal law norms, but also to analyze gaps in the law, and where legal regulation is insufficiently socially conditioned. The study of the genesis of criminal law norms on responsibility for crimes against women also made it possible to trace changes in the law concerning such objects of criminal law protection as life, health, gender freedom and gender integrity, honor, and dignity of a woman, the interests of the family and its members. The paper makes some comparisons with the legislation of foreign countries of criminal liability for crimes against women and presents practical recommendations for improving the criminal legislation of Uzbekistan.
