The role of learning media becomes very important in the period of distance learning to connect educators with learners. Therefore, the selection and use of learning media when Learning from Home (BDR) takes place will have an impact on the learning process that occurs. One of the practical and easy to use multimedia for BDR is Digital Storytelling. This article will present the results of research that produces digital storytelling of physics (DiSPhy) learning media that is equipped with science literacy and STEM projects. This research was conducted by the Research & Development (R&D) method which refers to the ASSURE steps. The resulting DiSPhy is tested directly to educators and learners using likert-scale questionnaire instruments. This research succeeded in producing digital learning media products in the form of DiSPhy equipped with decent science literacy as a medium of distance learning physics.Keywords: digital storytelling of physics, science literacy, learning from homeABSTRAK Peran media pembelajaran menjadi sangat penting pada masa pembelajaran jarak jauh untuk menghubungkan pendidik dengan peserta didik. Oleh karenanya, pemilihan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran saat Belajar dari Rumah (BDR) berlangsung akan berdampak pada proses pembelajaran yang terjadi. Salah satu multimedia yang praktis dan mudah digunakan untuk BDR adalah Digital Storytelling. Artikel ini akan memaparkan hasil penelitian yang menghasilkan media pembelajaran Digital Storytelling of Physics (DiSPhy) yang dilengkapi soal literasi sains dan proyek STEM. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Research & Development (R&D) yang mengacu pada langkah-langkah ASSURE. DiSPhy yang dihasilkan diuji secara langsung kepada pendidik dan peserta didik dengan menggunakan instrumen angket skala likert. This study of dissemination of GOOPI (Game Open Online Physics Instructional) on page https://goopi.id/ (use UC browser) to sparking innovation in education. The method of the study is the Interactive Lecture Demonstration (ILD) approach, the ILD stages are carried out with three stages of activities, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Dissemination with training for physics teachers who are members of the Physics Subject Teacher Meeting (PSTM) from a province in the west of Indonesia and Malaysian Teacher Association. The participants of this dissemination were 120 physics teachers for the first meeting and 86 teachers for a second meeting with GOOPI. The results of the study in the form of this dissemination were obtained information that physics teachers experienced in accessing and developing physics learning media. The results of the questionnaire responses to GOOPI with average 2,90 very good category of dissemination obtained information that GOOPI is effective for media for learning physics during the Covid-19 epidemic. The suggestion in this study is that dissemination training should be done frequently in order can provide skills or expertise that are not too complicated but are widely applied and needed by physics teachers.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah SD Al-Azhar Kelapa Gading Surabaya dalam mengelola program pendidikan karakter yang menjadi andalan di lingkungan Yayasan Al-Azhar Kelapa Gading. Fokus keterampilan manajerial dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan konseptual, keterampilan teknis dan keterampilan hubungan manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus, teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan narasumber kepala sekolah, guru pimpinan yayasan dan orang tua siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peran keterampilan konseptual kepala sekolah ditunjukan dalam kemampuan kepala sekolah yang mampu membagi peran baik sebagai pimpinan yayasan maupun sebagai kepala sekolah dan membagi konsep program pendidikan karakter sesuai jenjang pendidikan di yayasan Al-Azhar, lalu kepala sekolah memiliki kemampuan untuk memandang ke depan tentang bagaimana manfaat dan hambatan program pendidikan karakter. Dalam peran keterampilan teknis kepala sekolah menunjukan bahwa kepala sekolah SD Al-Azhar Kelapa Gading Surabaya terampil dalam memanfaatkan teknologi, sarana dan prasarana serta memberikan kesempatan pertemuan dengan tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan seminggu sekali. Selain itu, kepala sekolah SD Al-Azhar Kelapa Gading Surabaya juga tidak segan untuk turun ke lapangan untuk memberikan contoh perilaku baik. Dalam keterampilan hubungan manusia kepala sekolah SD Al-Azhar Kelapa Gading Surabaya terermin dalam cara bergaul dan berkomunikasi kepada tenaga pendidik maupun tenaga kependidikan, selain itu kepala sekolah juga terampil dalam memberikan motivasi yang menggugah semangat agar tidak lelah memberikan penanaman karakter pada peserta didik.
Learning media can enhance the learning process and can enhance cognitive skills. This research aims to use the Innovative Smart Orbital (ISO) approach to improve the cognitive skills on the concept of heat transfer. ISO is a new development medium which is a modification of the snakes and ladders games. An experimental class and a control class were used in this study. The experimental class learning is done using inquiry with ISO. In the control class, learning is done using inquiry only. Three hundred and four (304) students from 10 classes took part in this study. A purposive sampling technique was used to select them. The posttest score of cognitive skills of students before learning was 18.2 with an ideal score of 60. The posttest score of cognitive skills of students after learning was 49.5. This exposition article aims to identify the principal of senior high school's performance in the 4.0 industrial revolution era using questionnaire and deep interview method. So, this research uses a mixed method, namely with quantitative and qualitative approaches. We have conducted questionnaire to 50 teacher's that spread randomly to all public senior high-school of DKI Jakarta to ask about the supervision and by conducting interviews to 10 principals from all principals of public senior high school of DKI Jakarta with assumption each region is represented by two principals. The results of data collection that can show the principals are still in performance to leads their school in the era 4.0 industrial revolution.
