In case of remanufacturing, from the point of view of static and dynamic stability the reusable structural elements are in a partially unknown condition. Before commencing the re-manufacturing process, the effects of reactions and moments occurred subsequent to the work processes and that of other disturbing factors upon the structural elements, during the previous exploitation cycles, should be known. Therefore, it is necessary to verify the static and dynamic stability of any machine tool before commencing the remanufacturing process.
This article presents the methodology of creation of an innovative used by intelligent chatbots which support the admission process in universities. The lifecycle of the ontology, unlike the classical lifecycles, has six stages: conceptualization, formalization, development, testing, production and maintenance. This leads to sustainability of the chatbot, called Ana, which has been implemented at the “Iuliu Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Cluj-Napoca during the admission session throughout July–September 2022, for international candidates. The sustainability of the chatbot comes from the continuous maintenance and updates of the ontology, based on candidates’ interraction with the system and updates of the admission procedures. Over time, the chatbot is able to answer the questions according to the present situation of the admission and the real needs of the candidates. Ana had a huge impact, succeeding to resolve a number of 5173 applicants requests, and only 809 messages was transferred to the human operators, statistics which show a high cost-benefit improvement in terms of reducing the travel expenses for the candidates and also for the university. The article also summarizes the good practices in developing and use of such an intelligent chatbot.
This paper presents the dynamic characteristics and the proposed positioning performance of the system to them investigated experimentally. In this research, we developed the positioning system and we evaluated positioning accuracy. The developed system uses a servo motor for motion actuation. In this paper, we focused on studying the dependency of the positioning error – elementary errors – the position of the conducting element for the mechanism of the transformation of the rotation translation movement, representatively the mechanism screw – screwdriver and on emphasizing the practical consequences in the field of design, regulation and exploitation of the correct identification of all the initial errors in the structure of the mechanism, their character and the selection for an ultimate calculus of these which are of a real practical importance.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
