IntroductionSchool and training aircraft are usually equipped with conventional control systems, nonassisted mechanical systems. These planes have a low damping factor at speeds above Mach 0.3 and altitudes of over 5000 m. The proposed analysis is based on research made on military school and training aircraft IAR-99. With this category of aircraft an unsatisfactory level of damping oscillations was found, especially in the missions requiring Dutch roll mode specific developments.
