Aims and objectives:-to study the epidemiology of fecal fistula Material and methods:-inclusion criteria:-all patients developing fecal fistula after abdominal surgery.Exclusion criteria:pharengial.oesophageal,anorectal and urinary fistulas are excluded from the study. Results and conclusion:-in the end it was concluded that fecal fistula is a post operative complication with significant morbidity in relation to patient on one side and a lot of dedicated effort in limiting the morbidity on other side is required by the doctor with utmost care of the patient with fecal fistula.
