<p>Servant leader leading by not pursuing personal interest but striving to do the best for the organization and the people they lead. Servant leader can improve job satisfaction and trust of the people they lead. A good organizational climate also can triggers job satisfaction and organizational trust of the member towards the organization. This research was conducted with the aim to know the positive effect of servant leadership, organizational climate, and job satisfaction on organizational trust of the teacher in Sekolah Lentera Harapan Curug. This study uses quantitative approach with the subject of research amounted to 50 respondents. Path analysis and descriptive statistic were used to analyze the data collected. Result shows that (1) servant leadership has positive effect on job satisfaction; (2) organizational climate has positive effect on job satisfaction; (3) servant leadership has positive effect on organizational trust; (4) organizational climate has positive effect on organizational trust; and (5) job satisfaction has positive effect on organizational trust.</p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: </strong>Seorang pemimpin pelayan menjalankan kepemimpinan dengan tidak mengejar kepentingan pribadi tetapi berusaha untuk mengupayakan yang terbaik bagi kemajuan organisasi dan orang-orang yang dipimpinnya. Kepemimpinan pelayan dapat mendorong kepuasan dan kepercayaan orang yang dipimpinnya. Selain itu, iklim organisasi yang baik juga turut memicu kepuasan dan kepercayaan anggota terhadap organisasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh <em>servant leadership, </em>iklim organisasi, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kepercayaan organisasi guru di Sekolah Lentera Harapan Curug. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian sejumlah 50 responden. Metode pengolahan data menggunakan analisis jalur (<em>path analysis</em>) dan metode statistik deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa (1) <em>servant leadership </em>berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja; (2) iklim organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja; (3) <em>servant leadership </em>berpengaruh positif terhadap kepercayaan organisasi; (4) iklim organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepercayaan organisasi; dan (5) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kepercayaan organisasi.</p>
The quaternionic affine group and related continuous wavelet transforms on complex and quaternionic Hilbert spaces Abstract Framelet or wavelet frame is a frame generated by a single function by means of discretely dilating and translating. We introduce a Continuously Translated Framelet (CTF) which is a frame generated by a single function in a separable Hilbert space by continuous translations and discrete dilations. We found a method to generalize CTF as a family of frames that was resulted from decomposing the CTF generator.
<p>Algebra is one of the most fundamental concepts in learning mathematics and the concept of equality is an essential part of learning algebraic topics. However, many students find this concept difficult to understand. The problem is the difficulty of the content and how to teach it. In order to solve the problem, this paper reviews the use of the theory of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) in teaching the concept of equality. RME is a process of teaching and learning mathematics in a contextual way as mathematics is considered as a human activity. This paper aims to review the use of the RME theory in teaching the concept of equality within the Biblical perspective as the parameter of the implementation for mathematics as one of God’s tools to reveal His glory and wisdom. The method used in this paper was literature review which used literature findings as the resources. According to the literature research, it was found that the main problem in teaching and learning the concept of equality was students’ misconception of equality. The use of the RME theory can help teachers to teach the “equality” concept to help student learn contextually. </p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK<strong></strong>: </strong>Aljabar merupakan salah satu konsep paling dasar dalam pembelajaran matematika mendalam dan konsep persamaan merupakan bagian yang penting dalam mempelajari topik-topik aljabar. Namun ada murid-murid yang mendapati bahwa konsep persamaan sulit dimengerti. Permasalahannya adalah seputar sulitnya materi yang dipelajari dan cara pengajarannya. Untuk mencari solusi dari permasalahan tersebut, makalah ini akan mengkaji penggunaan teori Matematika Realistis dalam pengajaran konsep persamaan. Matematika Realistis adalah proses belajar mengajar matematika kontekstual yang memandang matematika sebagai aktifitas manusia. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan teori Matematika Realistis dalam pengajaran konsep persamaan di dalam perspektif Alkitabiah sebagaimana matematika adalah alat Allah untuk menyingkapkan kemuliaan dan hikmat-Nya. Metode yang digunakan dalam makalah ini adalah studi literatur yang menggunakan temuan-temuan literatur sebagai sumber. Berdasarkan studi literatur, masalah utama dalam pengajaran konsep persamaan adalah adanya miskonsepsi pada pemahaman murid dan menggunakan teori Matematika Realistis, pengajar dapat mengajar konsep “keseimbangan” untuk membantu murid belajar secara kontekstual.</p>
As an educational institution that teaches Christian values, Christian schools can play a role in building the character of the nation through education and science in accordance with Christian values. For those role it is necessary for the schools to employ committed human resources. Most of previously done research on work engagement involved factors of leadership style and job satisfaction, yet, very few included organizational culture. This research aimed to determine the effect of servant leadership, organizational culture and job satisfaction on work engagement. The research subjects were 63 teachers at junior high and senior high Christian schools located in West Jakarta. The research design used the path analysis through PLS-SEM method. The results showed that the servant leadership and organizational culture have a positive effect on job satisfaction and work engagement, but lacking evidence to prove the job satisfaction effects the work engagement. Therefore, to improve the teachers’ work engagement, one need to pay attention on two key factors: the leadership style that serves from the principal and conducive organizational culture.
The vision and mission of a Christian School are to implement redemptive education in the school that includes learning processes and other school components. The purpose of this research is to determine the understanding of leaders and teachers about redemptive education. The research constitutes theory-grounded qualitative research. The instruments were interview guideline, documents, and observation. The subjects were 13 teachers and leaders of the school. The data processing was conducted by means of analyzing open coding, axial coding and selective coding. The research revealed 5 characteristics of redemptive education in the school, namely education that is consciousness of sin, Christ-centered education, education that has eternal perspective, education with holistic subjects, and discipleship education.Keywords: Christian education, Redemptive education, teachers, theory-grounded qualitative research.
