The waste of a certain industry can be the raw material for another industry. As any material can become an explosive if we match them with the suitable complementary elements and the perfect detonator for these, also any waste can be useful for the circular economy. In this paperwork there will be introduced some methods through any kind of material can be reused. The impact of recycling on the environment would be positive, because nothing would be lost, everything would be transformed. The results obtained from laboratory tests on the processing of powdery ferrous waste for the purpose of obtaining lighters usable as raw material in the steel industry shall be presented. The processing and recovery of such waste leads to the recovery of iron.
