We report an active-matrix display with colour filters presumably using plastic substrates for the first time. The fabrication and characterisation of Ta 2 O 5 based and bridge type MIM devices applying an TaAl alloy as new ductile bottom electrode material is described. The realisation of the corresponding low temperature absorptive colour filter, the TN-cell assembly and TAB bonding techniques on polymer substrates are presented.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
