Cushing a n d Bailey 4 inferred t h a t h e m a n g i o b l a s t o m a s do n o t occur in the cerebrum, while Russell a n d R u b i u s t e i n s consider these t u m o r s to be e x t r e m e l y rare in the cerebral hemispheres.
