In recent years, one of the key emphases in electric car research has been batteries. Long-established battery technologies, such as lead-acid batteries, are necessary, but they must be upgraded. Lithium-ion batteries, for example, are a new technology that has lately entered the market. The introduction of hybrids, plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles has broadened the range of automobiles available. The energy density, charging and discharging properties, system integration and cost of battery technologies can all be used to classify them. Calendar life, cycle life, performance and safety at low and high temperatures are all important performance characteristics. In this study, a detailed comprehensive review has been done related to the development in battery technology for future mobility.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
