The results of numerical modeling of the operation of a well equipped with electric centrifugal pump installations under conditions of a gradual deterioration of pump characteristics (head, flow rate, efficiency) are presented. In this case, the residual resource of the installation is estimated as a period of time during which, due to a gradual increase in frequency, it is possible to maintain a constant flow rate of the well. Recommendations are given for determining the residual life in the field based on indirect measurement of pump performance degradation. A method for determining the residual life of a well equipped with installations of electric centrifugal pumps under abrasive wear conditions is proposed.
