The discrete modified Korteweg–de Vries (mKdV) is a class of discrete integrable systems that may be distinguished as integrable partial difference equations (PΔE) and integrable ordinary difference equations (OΔE). By considering traveling wave solutions, the OΔE mKdV can be obtained from PΔE mKdV. Meanwhile, a mapping can be constructed from an OΔE mKdV. In this paper, we will focus on producing a new map using a process (replacement), the interchange of a single parameter, and an integral and investigate its properties.
Provinsi Lampung memiliki banyak perguruan tinggi swasta berkualitas yang terakreditasi oleh BAN-PT. Banyaknya PTN yang hadir di provinsi lampung, tidak serta merta membuat PTS sepi peminat, banyak PTS tetap eksis dan bahkan mampu bersaing dipasar pendidikan tinggi. Ini terjadi karna inovasi dan pemasaran yang tepat sasaran. Terbatasnya kursi di PTN serta faktor-faktor lain, membuat banyak masyarakat lampung dan sekitarnya memilih melanjutkan studi di sejumlah perguruan tinggi swasta di provinsi lampung. Banyaknya opsi strategi penasaran memberikan banyak pilihan kepada perguruan tinggi swasta di lampung untuk mengembangkan institusinya dari segi jumlah mahasiswa, baik dalam skala kecil maupun skala besar, termasuk IAIMNU Metro Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan narasi deskriptif, objek penelitian adalah IAIMNU Metro Lampung dan mahasiswa dari kampus tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan IAIMNU Metro Lampung tidak dipandang sebagai kelas atas, yang cenderung mahal dan mewah, dan tidak pula dianggap kelas bawah, yang yang terkesan tidak bermutu, serta demografi responden sangat berpengaruh pada keesuaian strategi pemasaran yang digunakan, kampus dengan biaya terjangkau / low cost menjadi strategi pemasaran utama, biaya dan sistem pendidikan adalah proxy untuk model promosi word of mouth, serta ditunjang dengan memaksimalkan sistem teknologi.
Cryptography is the science and study of protecting data in computer and communication systems from unauthorized disclosure and modification. An ordinary difference equation (a map) can be used in encryption–decryption algorithms. In particular, the Arnold’s cat and the sine-Gordon linear maps can be used in cryptographic algorithms for encoding digital images. In this article, a two-dimensional linear mKdV map derived from an ordinary difference mKdV equation will be used in a cryptographic encoding algorithm. The proposed encoding algorithm will be compared with those generated using sine-Gordon and Arnold’s cat maps via the correlations between adjacent pixels in the encrypted image and the uniformity of the pixel distribution. Note that the mKdV map is derived from the partial discrete mKdV equation with Consistency Around the Cube (CAC) properties, whereas the sine-Gordon map is derived from the partial discrete sine-Gordon equation, which does not have CAC properties.
