The aim of the study was to evaluate the application of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) versus platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on the outcome of mandibular fracture: a comparative study. This prospective comparative study was carried on 16 patients ranging in age from 20 to 42 years. The patients were divided into two equal groups. The results of this study showed that PRP and PRF seem to aid acceleration of bone healing in mandibular fractures, but PRF more so than PRP in bone formation.
