Purpose. to analyse and generalize the competitive activity structure on the basis of the hierarchy of technical and tactical indicators of qualified basketball players in won and lost games by using the factor analysis methods. Methods. the study involved 96 professional basketball players who were national team players of countries that took 1-8 places in the final tournament of the European Basketball Championship 2017. technical and tactical indicators of their competitive activity were analysed for revealing and interpreting the results with the factor analysis methods. Results. the grouping of elements of the competitive activity structure of highly skilled basketball players was analysed. Groups with the highest value of factor capacity depending on the results of the game were determined. A significant difference in the structure of technical and tactical activity in the won and lost games was presented. Conclusions. the data obtained in the course of the study on the basis of factor analysis allowed us to present updated information on the competitive activity structure of highly skilled basketball players and to partially confirm the existing data.
Purpose. To develop an algorithm of special analysis for improving the training process, based on the identification of indicators of technical and tactical actions in the competitive activity of skilled volleyball players. Material and Methods. The study analyzed 2,688 technical and tactical indicators of the competitive activity of 56 players of national volleyball teams which played 6 games in the 2019 CEV Volleyball European Championship, taking into account the athletes’ playing roles, based on the methods of analysis of the competitive activity, analysis of generalization of practical experience, and theoretical modeling. Results. The study interpreted the total performance indicators of the competitive activity of skilled volleyball players, the indicators of technical and tactical activity in the competitive process, the ratio of performance indicators in skilled volleyball players in position zones. Conclusions. The modified algorithm of special analysis of indicators of technical and tactical actions has the following structure: analysis of quantitative characteristics of team, group and individual actions in attack and defense; chronological analysis of the competitive activity development in sets; analysis of playing actions in various zones of the court; comparative analysis of quantitative indicators of technical and tactical actions of volleyball players who directly counteract in the match; analysis of critical moments of the game, which is directly related to organizing and holding a particular match; interpretation and qualitative analysis of indicators of technical and tactical actions in a particular match. Based on the analysis of success and performance indicators of the competitive activity of Ukraine’s national volleyball team in the qualifying tournament of the 2019 European Championship (group F), it can be said that the modified algorithm of special analysis of indicators of technical and tactical actions showed high efficiency.
The study objective is to evaluate the immediate training effect under the influence of changes in the parameters of physical activity in special exercises on the basis of physiological changes in the body of basketball players. Materials and methods. The study used empirical methods of measuring heart rate during competitions, pulmonary ventilation values, О2 consumption during physical work, О2-debt, “excess” CО2, methods of mathematical statistics. Results. An empirical study has shown that the exercises used in the preparation of basketball players differ significantly in the nature of physiological action. The greatest physiological shifts in the body of basketball players determine the exercise, which is performed intensively or repeatedly with maximum intensity. The smallest physiological shifts were found when performing free throws. Conclusions. The magnitude and orientation of the immediate training effect of special exercises in basketball depend on the combination of the effects of all the main indicators of physical activity – the type of exercises used, their intensity and duration, duration of rest, the number of repetitions.
to evaluate the influence of creating the program of training process in the competition period of the annual macro cycles on the level of special physical training of women volleyball players. Material: women volleyball players of high qualification participated in the experiment (n=14, age 20-22 years). An assessment of the level of special physical fitness of volleyball players was conducted. It is used author's program. Results: features of the functional dependence of the level of general physical preparedness with the separate components of the special physical preparedness of volleyball players are established. The peculiarities of dynamics of indicators of athletes' special physical training in the competition period are determined. The strongest correlation relationship was the level of general physical fitness with: the level of general and hopping endurance; the level of development of jumping; special dexterity; special endurance; speed and strength of hands. As part of corrective modules, the training load of aerobic-anaerobic direction was increased. The main means of compound character training are: complex-coordinated and technical actions in combination with the accuracy of transmission; response to moving object; locking; attacking strikes. Conclusions: application of the experimental program of training process construction helps to maintain high level of basic indicators of athletes' special physical fitness during the competitive season. The experimental program involved the redistribution of training loads of aerobic and anaerobic-aerobic orientation within the framework of correcting modules.
The study purpose was to examine, analyze, and generalize the competitive activity structure based on the hierarchy of technical and tactical indicators of skilled female basketball players in won and lost games using principal component analysis. Materials and methods. The study participants were 96 professional female basketball players, members of national teams of Spain, France, Belgium, Greece, Turkey, Latvia, Italy, and Slovakia, which took the 1st-8th places in the final tournament of the European Basketball Championship 2017. The study analyzed 16 main technical and tactical indicators of skilled female basketball players in 52 official games to examine and interpret the obtained results using principal component analysis. The total number of observations is 52. Results. The experimental indicators obtained during the study made it possible to examine and analyze the grouping of elements of the competitive activity structure of skilled female basketball players, to interpret the obtained results in order to define informative criteria for optimizing training and improving the competitive activity effectiveness. The study revealed considerable differences in the competitive activity structure in won and lost games: in accordance with the most significant indicators of factor loadings, the percentage of a sample of elements that correlate with one another is: for won games – 67.40%, for lost games – 69.52%. Conclusions. Principal component analysis is quite effective and informative for studying the competitive activity structure of skilled female basketball players. It was demonstrated that the greatest difficulties in studying the competitive activity structure in basketball using principal component analysis are the selection of indicators that do not duplicate one another and are not calculated, expert interpretation of the obtained results, and algorithmization of special analysis of technical and tactical indicators.
