RESUMOEste trabalho buscou evidenciar a utilização da transposição didática no ensino de Química, mais especificamente do saber sábio ao saber ensinar. A pesquisa, teve caráter qualitativo, no qual realizou-se a análise de um livro do ensino superior adotado como saber sábio e de livros didáticos utilizados no ensino médio como saber a ensinar. A análise destes livros foi feita por meio da técnica de Análise de Conteúdo, mais especificamente pela categorização dos dados. Como objeto de análise, foram utilizados os números quânticos, evidenciando-se o processo de transposição entre o saber sábio e o saber ensinar. Ocorre nesta etapa uma mudança do saber e a consequente simplificação dos números quânticos, fator que ocasiona o distanciamento e a descaracterização desse campo de conhecimento, assim como a sua descontextualização. Contribuindo com isso para a existência de diversas dificuldades no processo de ensino-aprendizagem desse conteúdo. TRANSPOSITION DIDACTIC: AN ANALYSIS OF THE DISTANCING OF QUANTUM CHEMISTRY KNOWLEDGE OF IN HIGH SCHOOL TEXTBOOKS ABSTRACTThis work sought to demonstrate the use of didactic transposition in the teaching of Chemistry, more specifically of knowing wise to know how to teach. The research had a qualitative character, in which the analysis of a book of higher education was adopted as knowing wise and of textbooks used in high school as knowing how to teach. The analysis of these books was done through the technique of Content Analysis, more specifically by the categorization of the data. As an object of analysis, the quantum numbers were used, evidencing the process of transposition between wise knowledge and teaching knowledge. At this stage a change of knowledge and the consequent simplification of quantum numbers occur, a factor that causes the distancing and de-characterization of this field of knowledge, as well as its decontextualization. This contributes to the existence of several difficulties in the teaching-learning process of this content.
