The laser‐based surface pretreatment of industrial components and surfaces is often an economical alternative to conventional component cleaning. In addition to its low energy consumption, the media‐free process does not require any chemicals or abrasives, which is why “cleaning with light” is particularly sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Laser cleaning is a surface treatment process that removes residues, coatings and contaminants using only the power of focused light. This advanced technology harnesses the unique properties of laser energy with precision control to safely prepare high value surfaces in many applications. Laser light replaces harmful cleaning solvents, chemicals, as well as abrasive media that pose hazards to people and the planet.
