RESUMENEl diagnóstico de estrangulación antebraquial suele presentar dificultades debido a las escasas lesiones, tanto externas como internas, que se objetivan, por lo que en ocasiones resulta difícil establecer este mecanismo asfíc-tico como responsable de la muerte.Al mismo tiempo, destaca la importancia de un diagnóstico adecuado por las implicaciones, casi siempre homicidas, que conlleva.Se presenta el caso de estrangulación antebraquial de una joven por su expareja, un varón invidente.Palabras clave: asfixia mecánica, estrangulación antebraquial, homicidio. This is the reason of the problems to establish this type of asphyxia like death's cause.At the same time, it's important to establish a good diagnostic because the homicidal etiology is the the most frequently, with the legal consecuences that it implies.In this paper, wepresent the case of a forearm strangulation of a young woman by her ex-boyfriend, a blind man.
