Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dampak negatif penggunaan gadget berdasarkan aspek perkembangan anak di Sorowako Kecamatan Nuha. Penelitian kuantitatif jenis survei ini memiliki populasi ibu rumah tangga sebanyak 120 ibu-ibu yang terhimpun dalam majelis taklim se-Kecamatan Nuha. Sampel sebanyak 19 orang yang terpilih secara random. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan skala dampak gadget yang terbagi ke dalam aspek perkembangan anak. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya gejala dampak negatif yang dialami oleh anak di Sorowako ditinjau dari aspek perkembangan fisik psikomotorik, agama dan moral, kognitif, sosial dan emosi, bahasa dan seni anak.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemandirian anak setelah penerapan pembelajaran metode Montessori di Bright Star Makassar School. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain pretest-posttest one group dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak lima belas anak. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa skala observasi kemandirian (behavioral checklist pada kemandirian anak) dengan model skala likert dan guide interview. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistic non parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasilnya menunjukkan p = 0.001 (p < 0.05), artinya penerapan metode Montessori signifikan meningkatkan kemandirian anak di Bright Star Makassar School. Keseluruhan sampel dalam penelitian ini semakin mandiri setelah diterapkan pembelajaran menggunakan metode Montessori dan tidak ada satu anak pun yang tidak mengalami kemajuan kemandirian. Begitu pula berdasarkan data statistik deskriptif ditemukan adanya perbedaan rata-rata skor kemandirian sebelum dengan rata-rata skor kemandirian sesudah perlakuan pembelajaran menggunakan metode Montessori. Penelitian ini membuktikan kemandirian anak dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran metode Montessori.
Low mathematics learning achievement is one of the problems that often occurs in learning today. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self regulation, self esteem and self concept. This type of research is an expostfacto involving students of class VIII SMPN 5 Makassar. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation data in the form of student achievement scores. Furthermore, the collected data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression test. The conclusion of this study shows that self-regulation, self-esteem and self-concept together have an effect on the learning achievement of class VIII students of SMAN 5 Makassar with a large influence of 90.2% and the remaining 9.8% is influenced by other factors. Therefore it is suggested to educators to increase self regulation, self esteem and self concept so that students' learning achievement increases.
The headmaster, as the highest policymaker in the school, has a very important role in overcoming violations that occur in the schools. Successful headmaster can be seen from the process of influencing every element in the school and being able to apply all leadership models in any situation and condition. There are several types of leadership, namely; authoritarian, democratic, and charismatic. This study aims to determine the headmaster’s leadership types of MTs As'adiyah Ereng-ereng in overcoming the students’ violations. This was field research with qualitative methods where the data sources came from the headmaster, students, educators, and students who committed violations. The data were collected from interviews, observation, and documentation. Then they were analyzed with analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results indicate that the forms of violations committed were (1) not praying in congregation, skipping the classes, not wearing appropriate uniforms, destroying facilities, and carrying cellphones. The leadership type that is most often applied in the schools was a charismatic leadership type. Although this type of dominates, democratic, and collective leadership is also found.
