Purpose of the study: The realities of the modern world order explain the increasing interest in learning a foreign language and require a search for ways and means of intensifying the educational process. The concept of modernization of the Russian higher education system requires the use of technologies that ensure the differentiation and individualization of education (the Ministry of Education).
Methodology: Cultural approach. Basis: axiology - the study of values and value structure of the world. It is conditioned by the objective connection of a person with culture as a value system. The game is focused on group activity, which fully meets the needs of modern methods. It is also easily transformed into various forms of individual activity, giving every student an opportunity to try himself in a particular role to show individual abilities.
Results: The goal of teaching foreign languages at the present stage is not a language system, but foreign language speech activity, and not by itself, but as a means of intercultural interaction. Using educational games allows you to apply the language material creatively, turn foreign language classes into a process of communication, discussion, research. The educational project, from the point of view of the student, is the possibility of maximizing your creative potential. This is an activity that will allow expressing oneself individually or in a group, trying one’s hand, applying one’s knowledge, benefit, and publicly showing the achieved result.

The relevance of the research problem is determined by the necessity to enhance cognitive and educational functions due to humanization of education by means of art. The purpose of the article is to identify, analyze and define the ways of forming a lexical area "art" in the process of teaching students English through the realization of the aesthetic component. A leading approach to the study of this problem is a theoretical and an empirical one. The article presents the results, indicating the importance of the use of paintings, illustrations, fiction, elements of folklore (proverbs, sayings) in English classes; the sources of the vocabulary formation in the sphere of art have been identified and analyzed with the view of parallel implementation of the component of aesthetic education. The article can be useful in studies related to the process of English language teaching and implementation of the educational function in the field of aesthetics education.
The excitation of pressure fluctuations by an air jet in the model of a Helmholtz oscillator, consisting of a cylindrical chamber with a nozzle in the front cover and an outlet opening in the rear one was studied. The influence of the shape of the nozzle in combination with the length of the chamber and the diameter of the outlet opening was considered. The amplitude-frequency spectra when changing the configuration of the oscillator and the Reynolds number in the allowable range was analyzed. The formation of the reverse flow area in a cylindrical nozzle and its influence on the intensity of the interaction of the jet with the flooded chamber volume are considered. The advantage of a nozzle with a profiled inlet providing a continuous flow in the nozzle and a top-hat profile of velocity at the nozzle exit are determined. The jet-driven Helmholtz oscillator can be used as a downhole emitter for intensifying oil production.
