Abstact. The paper analyzes the vocabulary of the German science-popular medical discourse as exemplified in the German online media. The relevance of the study is due to the growing interest of non-professional participants of medical communication, as the main recipients of this institutional discourse, to the processes of self-diagnosis and self-treatment, which require the expansion of medical knowledge. The paper examines the texts of more than 40 publications in detail, establishes their distinctive structural features, genres and vocabulary. It is shown that the dominant genre in the studied type of discourse is a science-popular article. It has been established that the lexicon of the type of discourse under study includes common vocabulary, general scientific vocabulary and medical terminology. We consider some ways to clarify the terms: explanations, the use of doublet forms, hypertext links, as well as the use of international word-building elements. The types of phraseological units and metaphors that function in science-popular medical discourse are characterized: it is shown that phraseological units based on the similarity of the phenomena of the medical field with the phenomena of the animal world, as well as with everyday life realities, and metaphors based on images of the game, war and court are used more frequently. The results of the study prove the need to expand the scope of study of medical science-popular discourse by considering it in linguopragmatic and stylistic aspects.
Aim. The article is devoted to the analysis of social and communicative of first-year students at a medical university. The aim was to generalize and systematize scientific views on adaptation of first-year students, highlight the criteria for student adaptation, substantiate the prospects for further research.Material and methods. The use of methods for studying scientific and methodological literature, evaluating information obtained during theoretical analysis, comparison, grouping of data, generalization, made it possible to form the original questionnaire "Assessment of socio-communicative adaptation of first-year students in a medical university." The study involved 338 first-year full-time and part-time students of the Volgograd State Medical University.Results. The theoretical analysis of literature made it possible to identify the features of the functioning of a first-year student at a medical university, to substantiate the social and communicative adaptation of the individual as a necessary condition for the formation of a future specialist.The role of mental health of an individual in the process of achieving the necessary level of adaptation in the conditions of the educational process of the medical university is indicated. We have explicated the external and internal criteria for the adaptation of a university student, on the basis of which a questionnaire was compiled. The survey of students, the interpretation of the data obtained indicates both positive results and the fact that many first-year students question their academic success at the beginning of their studies and note their insufficient home preparation, as well as lack of time for various extracurricular activities.Conclusion. Socio-cultural adaptation of a first-year student is a long multifactorial process of changing the nature of connections, the student’s attitude to the content and organization of the educational process in a medical university. On the other hand, modern professional standards require a high level of communicative competence formation from a specialist. The relationship between the academic performance of a student and the degree of adaptation in the specific conditions of the pedagogical process at a medical university is revealed. We consider the development of a student community model with the involvement of professional psychologists to organize psychosocial assistance to maladjusted students as a prospect for the study.

Статья посвящена исследованию субъективных оценок социально-экономического положения жителей Волгограда и Волгоградской области в условиях самоизоляции в период второй волны пандемии коронавируса (зима—весна 2021 г.). Освещен мировой опыт поддержки населения и экономики в сравнении с российскими реалиями. Приведены меры государственной поддержки малого и среднего бизнеса изучаемого региона. Эмпирический анализ основывается на данных авторского социологического опроса, включающего в себя не только вопросы экономического характера, но также психосоциальные аспекты мер по длительному ограничению передвижения и снижению интенсивности социальных контактов. В статье рассмотрены меры социально-экономической поддержки населения с позиций социального государства. Анализ полученных данных показал ухудшение социально-экономического положения населения региона. Жители Волгоградской области подвержены страхам из-за угрозы потери работы, их психоэмоциональное состояние характеризуется тревожностью; участились конфликты, связанные с финансовыми трудностями, а также с вынужденным длительным нахождением с остальными членами семьи. Кроме этого, в работе эксплицирована роль СМИ в конструировании и воссоздании социальных страхов и угроз, влияющих на общественное сознание и имеющих такие последствия, как ажиотажное потребление, сужение поля социальных контактов. Предложены перспективы исследования с учетом продолжающейся пандемии коронавируса и неопределенности сроков ее окончания.
