This study aims to evaluate results of radiant heat transfer on float glass surface, where radiant heat and convection rate are distributed from initial glass heating to the maximum or final temperature of the float glass using varied temperature and thickness by means of Mecway FEA simulation. This research also seeks to measure thermal stress on float glass with thickness of 4-19mm. To calculate the rates of heat transfer occurring by conduction, it is assumed that with exposure to heat of 200-600°C for 20 minutes and temperature of about 32°C, the simulation distributes radiation temperature with maximums of 160.2-395.5°C. Results show overprediction of thermal change based on validation from prior experiments. In this study an initial crack took place around the edge of the glass frame, where the float glass underwent heat stress to maximums of 34.69-33.10 MPa. The focus of this study is to identify the characteristics of the float glass used in this and previous research under heat treatment with varied thickness and temperature.
Sistem blowdown pada PLTU digunakan untuk mengontrol dan membuang kandungan solid dalam sisa air pemanasan. Dampak negatif kenaikan tekanan fluida secara kontinyu adalah terjadinya deformasi pipa blowdown karena tegangan pipa melebihi nilai tegangan yang diijinkan. Artikel ini menyajikan hasil penelitian dalam menganalisis kenaikan tekanan fluida terhadap tegangan dan fleksibilitas pipa blowdown A106 Grade A berdasarkan ASME B31.3 Piping Process. Berdasarkan kriteria critical line, pipa blowdown A106 Grade A yang dikategorikan sebagai kategori B harus dikoreksi dengan metode sederhana. Fluida di dalam pipa blowdown telah mengalami kenaikan tekanan menjadi 322,55 psi dan bersifat turbulen. Berdasarkan ASME B31.3, tegangan dan fleksibilitas pipa blowdown masih di bawahnilai yang diijinkan dan sistem perpipaan dinyatakan aman.
Abstract. Survey with GPS Real Time Kinematic (RTK) has the advantage of being faster and easier than the total station, but on the other hand the accuracy of GPS Real Time Kinematic (RTK) is considered lacking. This study was to determine the comparison of accuracy and efficiency of measuring land parcels using a total station and GPS Real Time Kinematic (RTK) method. The research location is at the Universitas Negeri Semarang campus by selecting areas that are open or unobstructed to satellites and congested areas or which have many obstacles to satellites. The results of this study indicate that for open areas, measurement with GPS Real Time Kinematic (RTK) method reaches a horizontal accuracy of 0.040 m with a time of 16 minutes 16 seconds. While the measurement using a horizontal accuracy of 0.00 Total Station with a length of time of 26 minutes 47 seconds. For areas that are densely measured, GPS Real Time Kinematic (RTK) achieves horizontal accuracy of 10.053 m with a length of time of 39 minutes 27 seconds. While the measurement using a precision horizontal Total Station 0.00 with the length of time 25 minutes 41 seconds.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsumsi bahan bakar dengan variasi putaran yang berbeda-beda. Pengujian dilakukan pada unit mobil Toyota Innova Diesel tahun 2016 dengan tipe engine 2DG-FTV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode variasi putaran pada mesin dengan putaran 750 rpm, 1200 rpm, 1600 rpm, 2000 rpm, 2400 rpm, 2800 rpm, 3400 rpm, 4000 rpm dalam kondisi diam. Tekanan akhir kompresi adalah tekanan campuran udara-bahan bakar pada akhir langkah kompresi dan n1 adalah eksponen polytropik yaitu eksponen yang menunjukan sifat dan bentuk dari proses adiabatic. Temperatur Akhir Kompresi (Tc) adalah temperatur campuran bahan bakar sebelum pembakaran (pada akhir langkah kompresi), Efisiensi thermal adalah perbandingan antara energi yang berguna dengan energi yang masuk. Nilai H, C dan O dinyatakan dalam persentasi berat dalam setiap unsur yang terkandung dalam satu kilogram bahan bakar. Hasil pengujian didapat bahwa putaran 4000 rpm dihasilkan Vf 0,692 ml/menit, mf dihasilkan 0,0338 kg/jam, Sfc dihasilkan 0,0000381 kg/hp.h, Ne dihasilkan 889,132 Hp dan Torsi (T) dihasilkan 159,199 N.m. Waktu pengujian masing-masing variasi putaran 60 detik. Dari hasil percobaan laju konsumsi bahan bakar (mf) berbanding lurus dengan putaran mesin (rpm) dan konsumsi bahan bakar Spesifik (Sfc) berbanding terbalik dengan putaran mesin, maksudnya konsumsi bahan bakar semakin efisien pada saat putaran mesin semakin tinggi khususnya di rpm rendah dan sedang.
Abstract. The quality of the coordinates of the points in a generally horizontal control network will be influenced by many factors, such as the system equipment used for measuring / observation, the network geometry, measurement strategies / observation, as well as data processing strategy implemented. Using development of the GPS satellite system, since 1989, the network provision of horizontal control points in Indonesia generally relies on the GPS satellite observations. One way of measuring geodetic control points with high accuracy is using geodetic GPS. Measurement of geodetic control points required as a control in the execution of the work and as a correction coordinate measurement of the position of a measurement object with a high degree of accuracy (± 1 cm). How many measurement methods that can be done. This research conducted measurement using static method. Static surveys are used to determine the coordinates of the control points are relatively distant from each other as well as order accuracy requires relatively higher. The measurement results obtained coordinate data for point 1 is 6 ° 57 '31.92207 "LS; 109 ° 38 '32.25194 "BT; high (ellipsoid) 34 320 m and point 2 is 6 ° 57 '33.59086 "LS; 109 ° 38 '37.87710 "BT; high (ellipsoid) 36 235 m.
