AMIK Tunas Bangsa is a growing university in Pematangsiantar. Therefore, there are still many university activities and activities that are constrained by problems. One of them is the problem in the selection of employees by the foundation to occupy the position of Laboratory Assistant. Problems that arise in the selection process of acceptance of laboratory assistant at AMIK Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar is the absence of tools that can assist management in determining the appropriate candidate laboratory assistant to be the best. By building a system to support the decision of using AHP Algorithm (Analytical Hierarchy Process) is expected to assist the Foundation in conducting the assessment and can be used as input (Reference) by the Foundation to make decisions in selecting the appropriate laboratory assistant candidate accepted. Selection of laboratory assistant acceptance using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) algorithm can yield the best alternative, with criteria in the form of an interview, written test, practice test, and GPA. So the selection of acceptance of laboratory assistants can run exactly and in accordance with the expected.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of problem-based learning models compared to conventional learning models to improve students’ problem solving skills in XI IPA SMAN 2 Labuapi This research is quasi-experimental, which used nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of XI IPAN SMAN 2 Labuapi in the academic year 2015/2016. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class and class XI IPA 2 as a control class. The sampling technique used saturated sampling techniques. The instrument used to measure the ability to solve problems in the form of a description test. Data analysis techniques used the Anacova test for hypothesis testing and N-Gain to see the improvement of students’ problem solving skills. Anacova test results found that there were significant differences between the variables involved in the study, while the average increase in students’ problem solving abilities for the experimental class was lower than the control class. Based on these results it can be concluded that the problem solving abilities of students taught with problem-based learning models do not have a higher increase compared to conventional learning.
Learning media can determine the quality of education, one of the digital media revolution with the development era 4.0. So that the required media interesting and appropriate media learning needs. One of the instructional media used is a dynamic learning media and digital nature, i.e., sparkol videoscribe instructional media as media that is flexible. This study aims to determine the ability to analyze the learners after the learning intervention with learning models Project, Activity, Cooperative Learning, Exercise (PACE) class X Mathematics learners SMAN 6 Purworejo. This study used a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and posttest. The results showed that the average value of the pre-test students on the material Enterprises and Energy before the implementation of PACE is learning to use the model of implementation is 46.28 and after 80.75. The highest post-test value of 95 indicated by the attribute aspect. The amount of the lowest post-test that is 72 represented by aspects of organizing the linking indicator of a problem.
Kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan analisis fisika pada peserta didik dapat didukung dengan kegiatan praktikum di laboratorium, sehingga keterampilan kinerja di laboratorium peserta didik dapat ditingkatkan. Sejalan dengan tujuan tersebut kompetensi pedagogis dan sosial mahasiswa sebagai seorang calon guru Fisika perlu diasah melalui interaksi dengan peserta didik secara langsung di sekolah, salah satunya melalui kegiatan Asistensi. Kegiatan asistensi ini dilaksanakan di sekolah negeri maupun sekolah swasata di kabupaten Purworejo, salah satunya SMA Negeri 9 Purworejo. Materi yang disajikan adalah parktikum mekanika untuk fisika SMA kelas X, fun science project berupa perancangan dan peluncuran roket air, dan kegiatan pengamatan benda langit menggunakan teleskop. Kegiatan dilaksankan mengunakan metode eksperimen di laboratorium, diskusi interaktif, workshop roket air, dan kegiatan hands-on peserta didik dalam pengamatan sun spot. Kegiatan dikemas secara interaktif sehingga peserta didik berperan secara aktif dan mandiri sehingga tercipta suasana pembelajaran di luar kelas yang menyenangkan.
