Linear psoriasis is a rare clinical presentation of psoriasis. It is characterized by linear erythematous and scaly lesions along the lines of Blaschko and usually appears in childhood. Psoriasis is a chronic, inflammatory skin disorder with a considerable impact on social functioning and personnel relationship. Isolated genital psoriasis is considered a rare manifestation of psoriasis. The manifestations of genital psoriasis may differ from typical genital dermatoses and may mimic other diseases at an early stage. The psychosocial impact of psoriasis often causes more distress than its physical symptoms, and the perception of stigmatization has a detrimental impact on social functioning and self-image. We report a new case in order to recognize this rare variety of psoriasis.
Trichotillomania is a disorder characterized by the noncosmetic, repetitive pulling of hair from any part of one's body, resulting in noticeable hair loss or alopecia. It is included under anxiety disorders because it shares some obsessive-compulsive features. We report a particular case of a 12-year-old girl with one-year history of secondary enuresis, referred by his urologist for the management of an isolated alopecia of the eyelashes.
The pseudotumoral presentation of Orf is very rare with few cases reported in the literature. It is usually characterized by a single papule which rapidly evolves taking up a nodular appearance. The diagnosis is usually established clinically based on patient history and the characteristics of the nodule. However pseudotumoral forms of this disease requires a skin biopsy in order to eliminate the main its differential diagnoses which are the squamous cell carcinoma and achromic melanoma. Orf is known to generally evolve favorably with a spontaneous regression of lesions. We report the clinical and dermatoscopic aspects of an interesting case involving a giant skin tumor.
