Three anti-Rh,(D) sera containing different pre portions of complete and incomplete antibody were fractionated by column chromatography on DEAEcellulcse using a aingle, continuous gradient. Incomplete antibody separated from the column at conditions of higher PH and lower ionic rtrcngth than thow required for the elution of the complete antibody. T h e widths of the active regions in the elution pattern were dependent on the tima of the tura fractionated and the reactivities of the cells used for testing. Agglutination, absorption and elution teats with unfracionated sera confirmed the greater reactivity of R h a .
