This study aims to determine the temperature and the ratio of tuber flour porang using isopropyl alcohol precipitator in producing glucomannan extract with the highest yield. The study was designed using completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of two factors: the temperature of the extraction consists of seven levels (45, 55, 65, 75, 85, 95, and 105 0C) and the ratio of tuber flour porang by precipitating isopropyl alcohol consists of 5 level (1: 7, 1:10, 1:13, 1:16, and 1:19 (w/v). each done in duplicate. parameters measured were yield characteristics glucomannan and the results showed that the extraction of the best glucomannan obtained at a temperature of 95 0C with a yield of 41.614%. the ratio of starch tuber porang best isopropyl alcohol is 1:19 (w/v) with a yield of 45.167% glucomannan. Test characteristics of glucomannan gained 6.6% moisture content, the ash content of 0.8%, and a molecular weight of 0.726 x 104 g/mol.Keywords: porang tuber flour, shaking temperature, glucomannan.
One of the goals of learning history is in addition to fostering historical awareness, it also introduces the concept of collective identity in students. Awareness of identity is very important for the life of the nation and state amidst the strengthening of globalization. Strengthening awareness of collective identity through historical education can use a local historical approach that contains local identities. Local history has a more contextual position from the student's point of view because it is closer to and around students. So that strengthening the understanding of local history is the initial stage that must be taken. Therefore, the use of historical learning media that utilizes local history material in schools is important. This study uses the first level Research and Development method, with a focus on designing learning product designs. The results showed that the design of learning media for historical documentary films with the material of the Implementation of Ethical Policies through Colonization Policies in Metro Lampung was by the core competencies and basic competencies in the 2013 Curriculum. The results of validation by stage 1 material experts were 59.3% with the criteria "Eligible", the second stage material expert was 93.3% with the criteria "Very Appropriate", while the results of the validation of the 1st stage design expert were 76.6% with the "Proper" criteria, the 2nd stage design expert was 88.6% with the criteria "Very Feasible". The results of the responses of students to the design of learning media were 88.4% (Very Feasible). It was concluded that the learning media in the form of a historical documentary film with the material of Ethical Policy Implementation through Colonization Policy in Metro Lampung deserves to be tested as a historical learning medium to strengthen students' understanding of local history in high schools. Perempuan memiliki pengetahuan yang luas dan tingkat pendidikan yang tinggi, maka peran mereka secara mikro dalam keluarga akan tinggi pula. Seperti dalam kehidupan berkeluarga, sering kali kita menjumpai masalah pengambilan keputusan tentang hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan kepentingan para anggota keluarga. Pengambilan keputusan yang dilakukan oleh suami maupun istri pasti akan berpengaruh pada tindakan yang akan dilakukan kelak. Perempuan atau istri yang memiliki pendidikan yang tinggi pasti akan ikut berperan dalam pengambilan keputusan dalam keluarga. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan apa saja faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi perempuan berpendidikan tinggi berperan sebagai pengambil keputusan dalam keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Informan penelitian terdiri dari perempuan berpendidikan tinggi beserta keluarga (suami dan anak) dan pengurus PKK Kelurahan Isola. Hasil penelitian ini memaparkan tentang Faktor pendorong perempuan bertindak sebagai pengambil keputusan dalam keluarga terdapat faktor intern dan ekstern yang mempengaruhinya.
The purpose of this study to determine the influence of media on the ability to think a chronological timeline of history teaching students of class XI IPS SMAN 2 Metro Academic Year 2016-2017. This research uses quasi-experimental research (quasi exsperiment), while the design (design) research used in this study is Nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS SMAN 2 second semester Metro, research using sampling methods clusterrondom sampling. Thus, in this study researchers randomly pick a class (any) in the sampling. Class XI IPS 2 by the number of students 30 as an experimental class, the class XI IPS 1 number of students grade 28 as a trial, and class XI IPS 4 with the number of students 31 as the control class. There were positive and significant influence on media use a chronological timeline of the history of students' thinking ability Class XI IPS SMAN 2 Metro. Based on the analysis of the findings of instructional media use a chronological timeline of the history student thinks that has been obtained, it is concluded that the selected learning media timeline positive effect of increasing students' ability to think chronological history.
