The avocado seed moth, Stenoma catenifer Walsingham, is recorded for the first time in the State of Queretaro, Mexico. Aspects about its habits and behavior are described.
Se determinaron 25 especies y 17 géneros de la superfamilia Acridoidea en el estado de Querétaro. La subfamilia Gomphocerinae de Acrididae presentó el mayor número de géneros y especies con 3 y 5, respectivamente. Melanoplus differentialis differentialis y Sphenarium purpurascens fueron las especies más abundantes. Dactylotum bicolor variegatum, Melanoplus lakinus, Orpulella pelidna y Schistocerca albolineata son nuevos registros para el estado de Querétaro.
