The transition of higher education to a multilevel system of training, introduction of innovative approaches in the process of professional training, the combination of professional training of modern specialists with the developing English language competence acquires special urgency. An interdisciplinary integration of a foreign language is one of the main means of solving professional problems; is a prerequisite for the effective developing professional English language competence of math students. Formation of the professional person who has an active life position during the whole period of professional activity is promoted by professionally oriented teaching of a foreign language. In this regard, the main problem of the teacher is the formation of such an educational and methodological space in which it is possible to develop the necessary qualities of a student -a future specialist, an interest in learning a foreign language. The space, where everyone is enable to learn with regard to his propensities, interests, and abilities. Improving the quality of English language competence of math students is necessary for a high degree of their realization and self-actualization in the modern world, otherwise they lose the opportunity to use the potential accumulated in this sphere of culture.
