This descriptive research was conducted between May-June 2021. The sample group of the research consisted of 341 adult individuals over the age of 18 living in Turkey. "Information Form" and "Breast Milk Perception Scale for Adults" were used to collect data. The total average score adults received from the "Breast Milk Perception Scale for Adults" was determined as 115.17±22.59. A significant difference was found between the individuals in terms of sex, marital status, income status, presence of children, number of children, breast milk intake of children, being informed about breast milk and their breast milk perception levels (p<0.05). No statistically significant difference was found between the individuals who participated in the research in terms of their X, Y, and Z generation status and breast milk perception scale scores (p>0.05). Consequently, it was determined that the breast milk perceptions of the individuals participating in the research were above the average.
