Highlights We engineered a recombinant immunoconjugate tool for direct detection of T. gondii . We implemented a one-step fluorometric immunoassay using 4-MUP AP substrate. Immunofluorescence imaging has provided captivating visual evidence of T. gondii detection. The proposed immunoreagent is highly sensitive, straightforward and economically viable.
