Learning has now gradually recovered from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic with the start of limited face-to-face learning. This makes educators need to innovate so that students still have independent learning. Online learning that is less than optimal causes students to be too passive when learning offline. The use of technology, the selection of interesting learning models, and media according to the characteristics of the material, especially abstract material, are still needed to answer the challenges of 21st-century learning. The use of technology and the development of students' learning independence is very important to face real life and make learning more effective. The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning independence of students through the implementation of LKPD discovery learning assisted by augmented reality. This research is descriptive qualitative research with 28 students of class VIII at SMP N 2 Karangnongko. The data collection technique used a student learning independence questionnaire, which was triangulated with learning observation sheets and interviews with science teachers. The data analysis technique according to Miles Huberman (1992) goes through three steps, namely data reduction, data displaying, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the learning independence questionnaire were analyzed using the percentage technique. Based on the learning independence questionnaire data, the average percentage is 70% in the medium category
Information and communication technology supports innovative learning and creates a learning environment to develop student competencies in the 21st century. Science learning that is integrated with ICT can equip students with ICT literacy as a provision for a future full of global competition. This study aims to analyze students' ICT literacy through learning the green consumerism environment with the help of Padlet. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a research sample of 32 students of grade VII SMPN 2 Bungkal taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires, and observation. Research instruments in the form of interviews, questionnaires, and observation sheets. The data analysis technique is a quantitative percentage to determine the category of students' ICT literacy. The results show that students' ICT literacy scores for each aspect are access 100% (very high), manage 96.88% (very high), integrate 87.5% (very high), evaluate 40.63% (very low), create 56.25% (low), and communicate 75.00% (medium). The average percentage of students' ICT literacy scores reached 76.06% in the high category. The results of this study can be used as a basis for developing integrated science learning materials with ICT to facilitate students' ICT literacy.
Critical thinking is the ability to analyze and find out the truth of the information obtained in order to determine the right decision. The purpose of this study was to determine the critical level of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Bungkal, especially on the material of the human excretory system. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects used were students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Bungkal, Ponorogo who collected 30 students using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques consist of interviews and tests. The research instrument consisted of a teacher interview sheet and a critical thinking question instrument that had been validated by expert lecturers. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that in the aspect of interpreting the average score was 34.66 (very low), analyzing 38.66 (low), evaluate 55.33 (enough), concluding 29.99 (very low), explaining 58.66 (enough). So that overall students' critical thinking is included in the low category with an average value of 43.46. This research is important because it can be used as input for teachers to design learning using appropriate models and approaches so that they can develop and improve students' critical thinking
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
