The Covid-19 pandemic is used as a momentum by the government to accelerate the improvement of the village economy by revitalizing the role of BUMDes. It is hoped that the future role of BUMDes can become the basis for national economic recovery. BUMDes are considered able to manage Village Cash for Work (PKTD) activities for productive economic business activities. The problem that occurs is how the village government responds to the implementation of the Village Law, especially the role of communication for village government organizations in order to realize improved performance and rural development based on this law. This study aims to see how the village government responds to the implementation of the Village Law, especially the role of communication of village government organizations in order to realize increased performance and rural development based on this law and to analyze the effectiveness of village government organization communication in implementing BUMDes policies for the implementation of Village Cash for Work during the Covid-19 period. to the village community. The research design used a narrative research design, the research method used was descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques in this study can use in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that all activities carried out during the pandemic in Menang Raya Village to increase the resilience of residents were not well integrated with the BUMDes Gemilang program in Menang Raya Village. Furthermore, organizational communication in strengthening the potential of BUMDes in Menang Raya Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency is effective. This article aims to describe the process and results of community service activities that seek to improve the knowledge and skills of IAIQ (Institute of Islamic Religion and Quran) al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya students in processing statistical data with R software. The service activity was carried out for two days. The first day adopted the tutorial lecture method, which included discussion, questions, and answers. While the second day focused on a data processing practicum with R, The results of the pre-test showed that the average knowledge of the target group on statistical data processing with R was only 10.41 points. After the training, the average score of the participants increased to 21.85 points. This service activity was statistically proven to increase the knowledge and skills of the participants; t (40) = 15.2719, p 0.001. The existence of this community is expected to become an arena for learning and sharing information about R. In addition, Sriwijaya University needs to continue financing the introduction of R software to the younger generation in the Ogan Ilir District, especially among students. Because mastering R is a form of digital competence for the younger generation of Indonesia who will work in the Revolution 5.0 era.
Dana Desa merupakan salah satu bentuk keuangan desa yang dialokasikan oleh pemerintah pusat kepada pemerintah desa secara otonom. Alokasi dana desa sangat terbatas dan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor tertentu dalam pemberiannnya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi dan sasaran yang tepat dalam penggunaannya agar dana tersebut dapat membawa kemajuan bagi desa tersebut menjadi desa mandiri, yakni desa dengan tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat tinggi dengan tingkat kemiskinan yang rendah. Desa Lorok, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Provinsi Sumatera Selatan merupakan lokasi yang dipilih untuk melakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat mengenai manajemen penggunaan dana desa ini. Ttujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberi edukasi mengenai manajemen penggunaan dana desa pada bidang pemberdayaan masyarakat yang menjadi salah satu bidang prioritas dalam penggunaan Dana Desa. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui penyuluhan dengan khalayak sasaran utama yaitu unsur pemerintah desa yang terdiri dari Badan Permusyawaratan Desa, Perangkat Desa, dan organisasi dalam lingkup pemerintahan desa. Respon yang diberikan oleh peserta kegiatan juga sangat baik pada saat kegiatan berlangsung. Kondisi ini diharapkan akan berimplikasi pada bertambahnya pemahaman khalayak sasaran khususnya unsur-unsur pemerintahan Desa Lorok dalam upaya mencapai status Desa Lorok menjadi salah satu Desa Mandiri (Sembada) di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir.
