Banyumas people have characteristics and personalities that can be observed through the use of language. This is seen in terms of lexical peculiarities, tone of speech, and grammar structure. Banyumas language is used as the identity of banyumas people who are blakasuta (cablaka, thokmelong, outspoken). With this identity, it can be described how the sociopragmatics competence of banyumas people. This sociopragmatics competency is related to the ability of banyumas people to use language in accordance with certain social contexts or certain social conditions. which are understood by speakers and identify models of communication competencies in banyumas people who are blakasuta. The purpose of this study was to uncover the characteristics of blakasuta used in banyumas community and identify the forms of speech resulting in daily communication. This research is qualitative descriptive research using a sociopragmatics approach. The method of data collection uses observation techniques by interviewing directly to the informant. The results of this study show that the characteristics of banyumas people who are blakasuta can show the sociopragmatics competence of banyumas people in speech. Banyumas community communication patterns can be identified from the form of speech acts, type of speech acts, and speech action strategy in each communication process. This cannot be separated from the cultural characteristics of banyumas people. Pragmatics competence relates to the cultural principles underlying the way banyumas people communicate, namely the principle of respecting others and the principle of avoiding open conflict to maintain a harmonious relationship.Keywords: Sociopragmatics, Blakasuta, Banyumas
Bahasa merupakan alat komunikasi yang dapat dilakukan dengan bahasa lisan dan bahasa tulis. Puisi merupakan salah satu contoh interaksi yang diungkapkan secara fiksi. Unsur pembentuk puisi sama dengan genre sastra lainnya. Salah satu bentuk apresiasi sastra yaitu pembacaan puisi dengan unsur musikalitas dan ikonisitas yang memukau. Apresiasi sastra bukanlah merupakan keterampilan, melainkan seni atau kiat yang menekankan estetika dan penghargaan sastra. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bekerja sama dengan sekolah SMK Negeri 3 Banyumas. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah siswa-siswi yang memiliki minat terhadap teater, khususnya yaitu ekstrakurikuker teater. Tujuan diadakannya kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu meningkatkan apresiasi sastra siswa SMK Negeri 3 Banyumas melalui teatrikal puisi. Manfaat dari diadakannya kegiatan ini diharapkan para siswa dapat mengimplementasikan pada pertunjukkan teatrikal puisi lainnya. Luaran kegiatan berupa pementasan teatrikal pusi berjudul “Indonesia Tanah Air Mataâ€. Luaran dari kegiatan pengabdian diharapkan siswa SMK Negeri 3 Banyumas dapat meningkatkan kreativitasnya dalam mengapresiasi sastra yang tertuang dalam bentuk seni pertunjukkan.
Naming is searching for language symbols to describe objects, concepts, and processes by utilizing vocabulary through changes in meaning or the creation of words. Toponyms are used as the identity of a place because they come from the results of the culture of the people in the area, which originate from the reciprocal relationship with the environment, in this case, namely language. The name of the place cannot be separated from the characteristics or things related to the place, such as the name of the sub-district in Banyumas Regency. This research is descriptive qualitative. The object of study of toponyms in this research is the naming of sub-districts in Banyumas Regency, which have physical and cultural characteristics that can be traced from an event or event in the past. The toponymy of sub-districts in Banyumas Regency can be a source of local history for the Banyumas people. Myths are passed down from generation to generation as part of the local history of place names. The history of naming is an oral tradition passed down from generation to generation, so naming places has cultural value. There are also local wisdom values in the sub-district toponymy in Banyumas Regency. The research results show that the sub-district toponyms in Banyumas Regency can trace the values behind the naming stories, namely the social and cultural values of the stories or myths of the Banyumas people. This local topography value in Banyumas Regency can be used as a source of learning for the younger generation.
Rumah Kreatif Wadas Kelir (RKWK), Karangklesem Purwokerto Selatan merupakan organisasi komunitas yang mengembangkan pembelajaran-pembelajaran kreatif berbasis mainan. RKWK berkembang dengan menyelenggarakan berbagai kegiatan pendidikan yang dikelola oleh relawan, remaja dan masyarakat sekitar. Salah satu peran para remaja / relawan RKWK yaitu mengonsep berbagai pembelajaran kreatif berbasis permainan yang inovatif dan menyenangkan. Salah satu kompetensi pendukung yang harus dimiliki yaitu berkaitan dengan keterampilan menulis. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan group achievement theory yang terbagi menjadi tiga aspek yaitu member input, mediating variable, dan group output. Khalayak sasaran pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu para remaja / relawan yang mengelola unit kegaiatan di RKWK. Capaian dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu terbentuknya keterampilan menulis, berbahasa, menyunting, dan meningkatkan daya kreativitas berpikir kritis. Produk dari hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu artikel populer dengan berbagai jenis tulisan populer yang siap submitted di media massa.
