None of the five antibiotic monotherapies maintains the patients' conjunctive free of pathogen bacteria 48 hours after finishing the treatment; however, there are bacterial patrons whose treatment could be optimised. The existence of polymicrobial flora decreases the effectiveness of the treatment.
