This study demonstrated that prolonged whole body hypothermia of the asphyxiated neonate is safe and not associated with increased mortality and morbidity up to 18 month of age.

Conclusion Urinary calprotectin had similar sensitivity and specificity for common urethral pathogens as urethral microscopy. Low calprotectin concentration correlated well with the absence of inflammation.
