Educação Unisinos 15(2):158-165, maio/agosto 2011 © 2011 by Unisinos -doi: 10.4013/edu.2011.152.08 Resumo: O trabalho estuda a construção de um blogue em contexto de sala de aula como estratégia para a aprendizagem da Língua Inglesa, como Língua Estrangeira (LE), no 3º ciclo do ensino básico. Faz-se uma descrição da ferramenta utilizada e do modelo adoptado para a criação do blogue, onde o conhecimento é construído para o desenvolvimento da competência comunicativa e das valências pessoais e sociais. Os resultados são apresentados, considerando as potencialidades da ferramenta tecnológica no domínio das quatro capacidades de uma LE: ler, ouvir, escrever e falar, assim como na integração de atitudes de autonomia, participação ativa, reflexão, responsabilidade e colaboração, o que é evidenciado na avaliação das aprendizagens.Palavras-chave: blogue, tecnologias, ensino, aprendizagem, língua inglesa. Abstract:This work studies the construction of a class blog in the classroom as a strategy for learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at the high school level. It describes the tool that was used and the model adopted for the creation of the blog, where knowledge is constructed for the development of the communicative competence in the foreign language and the students' personal and social skills. The results are shown considering the blog as a technological resource that can be used for the development of the four skills in learning a foreign language: reading, listening, writing and speaking. There is also an understanding that skills such as autonomy, active participation, refl ection, responsibility and collaboration are evidences to be taken into account in the evaluation of the process.
