The article deals with the transfer of freight from road freight to railway freight transport. In railway transport, individual wagons or groups of wagons with a maximum number of five are used. Combined transport is used for commodity flows. Goods are loaded in ISO 1 containers with an outer length of 20 or 40 feet. Special ramps allow goods to be transported from the ramp to the container and vice versa. The system can be used for storage device, distribution and logistics centres with railway connections to public railway transport.

The article investigates human capital in national postal providers (NPPs), which is an area that has yet to be underpinned by research. There is a number of works dealing with human capital, but only few address human capital in the postal service sector. The main aim of the article is to define differences in approach to human capital management in selected NPPs. Differences are expressed via the overall Human Capital Index (HCI). Due to the fact that so far there has been no complex research analyzing activities related to human capital in NPPs, it was necessary to carry out a content analysis of annual reports of selected NPPs. Results of the analysis served as a basis for expression of overall HCI. This study brings new insights into the topic and contributes to the sustainable development of the field.

Abstract:The contribution will focus on the development of e-commerce. The extent of the development of internet by age category will be assessed and the development of this factor will be monitored by correlation analysis. Analysis of logistics operators will be performed in the field courier, express and parcel shipments. Market competitiveness B2C will focus on flexibility in delivery, evening delivery or on weekends, term delivery (increasing the cost of tracking shipments and their records), use and offering banking products with secure payment system, readiness deliver the goods via its own fueling point. On the contrary, legal provision regulating the entrance to the parking are, entrance into pedestrian zone service may limit or prevent.
