Implementation of school-based management to improve the quality of early children education. The purpose of this study is to gain insight into the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, especially Early Childhood Education (PAUD). This research is motivated by the importance of improving the quality of education in Indonesia to develop human resources and build national character and also to produce a smart and quality generation. The subject of the research was carried out at An-najah Integrated Islamic Kindergarten Takengon. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach by analyzing the facts in the field. The results showed that the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) in An-Najah Integrated Islamic Kindergarten was carried out through several management inputs which were then applied in the learning process and resulted in increased learning outcomes so that it could improve the quality of Early Childhood Education (PAUD).
The success of an education in Indonesia cannot be separated from the cooperation between parents and teachers. Regarding the growth and development of children or not, it is only part of the responsibility of parents and teachers. Rather, there is a synergy between parents and schools, including teachers who provide insight into knowledge to foster a mature mindset for children to become human beings who are able to develop themselves both for themselves and their environment. In harmony with the strands of Ki Hajar Dewantara, the tri-center of education, families, educational institutions, and the community. However, it is not uncommon for parents to think that the responsibility for children's knowledge is entirely the responsibility of the teacher and the school. When there are cases of irregularities committed by children, many people accuse educational institutions as scapegoats. Even though the involvement and role of parents in overseeing children's education is very urgent. Integrated parental supervision with teacher direction in dealing with children's associations. Parental guidance has an important role in the formation of children's character. The synergy of the roles of parents and teachers can be done with good communication patterns.
