Abstract. In the article the necessity of continuous control over the condition of the roof of mine workings is considered, to increase the safety in the conduct of mining operations. Provided the rationale for monitoring in complex mining and geological conditions, as well as in areas prone to rock blows and sudden coal emissions. The existing methods for controlling the displacement of the roof rocks are described, and their shortcomings are given. An idea is given of an automated system for monitoring the displacement of the workings. The stages of the system as a whole are considered, including the choice of a linear displacement sensor, a platform for software development, and a programming language. In order to ensure integration into other systems and subsequent analysis of the results, it is envisaged to output data to spreadsheets. Are shown the interfaces of the program and the output of the readings from the sensors to the monitors of the mining manager.
The Earth, being the main object and operational basis for mining, is exposed to the greatest impact because of extracting minerals. Protection of elements of the biosphere, including subsoil, should provide for the provision of scientifically based and economically justified completeness and complexity of use. The article discusses the need to monitor the technical condition of mining equipment, as applied to assessing its technical condition and reducing energy consumption by this equipment. The dependence of energy consumption on vibration parameters and temperature of equipment surfaces is shown. The data of the results of vibration parameters monitoring are given. Criteria are given for estimating the energy efficiency of operation of process equipment and, accordingly, the influence of these parameters on the environment.
Abstract. Heavy operating conditions of mining machines as well as the high level of dynamic loads lead to reduction of their service life. The quantitative estimation of the machine reliability by one of the featureservice life -has become widely distributed in all the branches of engineering. Technical diagnosis is one of the important methods of improving the reliability in operating conditions. The diagnostics subsystem should provide for: non-destructive inspection of a technical condition of objects, the definition of sudden and parametric failures of mining machines and their systems, the detection of gradual failures by predicting changes in the monitored parameters, a continuous and periodic technical inspection. The obtained results given in this article prove the possibility of creating a group of common diagnostic criteria suitable for assessing the technical state of reducers of mining machines and equipment, but also being a prerequisite for the effective short-term prediction of the parameters under study when developing adaptive mathematical models.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
