Wireless sensor networks (WSN) behave as a digital skin, providing a virtual layer where the information about the physical world can be accessed by any computational system. In our earth 75% covered by water that could be river and ocean also. The underwater sensor network are enabling technology and become more and more popular for monitoring vast area of oceans. Underwater sensor Networks consist of a variable number of sensors that are deployed to perform monitoring tasks over a given area. The UWSNs provide continuous monitoring for various applications like pollution monitoring, submarine detection, disaster prevention etc.In this paper discuss an invaluable resource for realizing the vision of the Internet of Things (IoT). we will focus on the issues that take place at the network level and applications and challenges of underwater sensor, we also discuss the main problem or issue in underwater sensor network.
In order to ensure the safe supply of the drinking water the quality needs to be monitor in real time. In this presentation we present a design and development of a low cost system for real time monitoring of the water quality in IOT(internet of things).The system consist of several sensors which is used to measure physical and chemical parameters of the water. The parameters such as temperature, Acidic nature, turbidity, conductivity of the water can be measured. The measured values from the sensors can be processed by the core controller. The AVR model can be used as a core controller. Finally, the sensor data can be viewed on internet using desktop application.
This Project is a IR & camera based security system for protected areas & borders, which senses the Intruders, trespassers and transfer video to other end. For confirmation .In this Project, we are going to have an IR Sensor which senses any intruders / trespassers and will activate the alarm as well as switch on the guns in that particular place.In this project we will shoot the intruder when he cross the border, the bullet is equipped with a gps facility if the intruder escapes the we can track him with the help of ARM 11 devices or smartphone.It will also activate the Camera, which will start capture the live video and transmit the same to the receiver end, the smart phone.In the same time it will start gives alarm and the data will transferred through the RF Transmitter & Receiver to the mobile device .
Now-a-days health problems like cardiac failure, lung failures & heart related diseases are arising day by day at a very high rate. Due to these problems time to time health monitoring is very essential. A modern concept is health monitoring of a patient wirelessly. It is a major development in medical arena. This project is based on the monitoring of the patient that is done by the doctor continuously without actually visiting the patient. Health professionals have developed a brilliant and inexpensive health monitoring system for providing more comfortable living to the people suffering from various diseases using leading technologies like wireless communications, wearable and portable remote health monitoring device. As a result, visits of doctors to the patients constantly are decreased as the information regarding patient's health directly reaches to doctor's monitor screen from anywhere the patient resides. Also, based on this, doctors can save many lives by imparting them a quick & valuable service. In this, IoT is becoming a major platform for many services & applications, also using Raspberry Pi not just as a sensor node but also a controller here. This paper propose a generic health monitoring system as a step forward to the progress made in this department till now.
Glaucoma is one of the 2 nd leading eye diseases in the world, if not treated properly might lead to permanent blindness. There are no specific symptoms for this disease, it is observed by loss of side vision.Glaucoma is a slow progressive degeneration of retinal ganglion cells (RGC) and their axons, resulting in a distinct appearance to the optic nerve head (ONH), often called cupping. Due to cupping, the cup area increases and causes loss of side vision.Usually specially trained clinicians manually grade the fundus images in a time-consuming manner. In this context, we are trying to develop some novel algorithms for automatic detection of eyes affected with glaucoma using image processing filtering & transformation techniques. 5 different concepts are going to be used in our project work for the automatic detection of glaucoma disease in human beings using the concept of fuzzy, artificial neural networks (ANN), neuro-fuzzy (ANFIS), genetic algorithms & using the wavelet features.
